Marriott Marquis City Center Doha Hotel Review

If you are looking for good hotel, Marriott is one of them.

Very nice hotel and close to the City Center, great

Cigarette smell is bad, even at non smoking area while dining

Excellent Hotel, facilities, F&B, team and connected to City Center ...one of the best malls in Doha.

All the amenities in one location. Multiple different styles of restaurants, a beautiful outdoor pool area, and convenient access to the mall from the second floor.

Good place also for seminar venue. Delicious food/snacks. Well arranged.

The rooms are so outdated that it feels that, bad motel room straight out of a 80s movies set .... The washroom is so tiny that you can hardly move around, TV is so ancient that it feels like one of the apocalyptic types... The disappointment I feel is undescribable... probably, the only good thing is the bed... It's comfortable,so if you are in mood to spent a huge amount of money on sleeping ... This is a perfect place for you

The place was cozy and friendly. The food was good and the band was gorgeous but the seating was not comfy.

Booked 1 night at this hotel with a stopover program from Qatar Airways. Satisfied with our stay.
Entering the lobby, you immediately realize that you are in a high-level hotel, they are greeted with wet towels and cold tea. There was live music in the lobby bar.
As luck would have it, we were offered an upgrade from a standard room to an apartment on the 40th floor, with a breathtaking view of the skyscrapers of Doha, the most beautiful area in the city.
We asked for a late check-out and at the reception they kindly helped us by providing the service for free.
The room had bathrobes, slippers, water and a set for making tea and coffee, cosmetics in the bathroom. In general, everything you need for a comfortable stay. The room was clean, the bed was comfortable, everything was fine.
Also, upon check-in, we received discounts on all bars and restaurants in the hotel building, including the lounge bar on the terrace. A stylish place for an evening cocktail.
We didn't have time to use the pool.
Right next to the hotel is the Doha City Center shopping mall, it seems there is even a passage from the hotel itself, but we did not see it. There, in addition to shops of famous brands, you can find a large supermarket and a food court.
The hotel can be easily reached from the airport and back by a direct metro line, the station is opposite the hotel, you just need to cross the road. Uber also operates in Doha, fares are cheaper than in Europe, similar to Kiev.
Highly recommend this hotel for a stopover and city break in Doha.

Went for afternoon tea. Delicious plenty of small bites , but different from your usual sandwiches. You start with the scones and tea first , then sandwiches and cakes/pastries finishing with a chocolate dip with strawberries and marshmallows

Doha is an exciting place to visit and live in. Any visit to Doha requires a stay at the Marriott Marquis.

It was the worst experience ever I had in a horrible 5 star hotel
And I highly recommended to find another hotel even 3 stars will be 100% better than this horrible hotel

The Marriott Marquis in Doha has a contemporary elegance that is only enhanced by its direct connection to the City Center mall.

The hotel has an abundance of excellent restaurants. But when you add the options in the mall, there is no reason to leave the complex.

The meeting facilities are top notch and the service from the front desk, room and meeting facilities is excellent.

This is a premier location for meetings in Doha.

A great hotel in the center of the city. Staff is very friendly and the rooms are very clean. Fair prices as well; you should prefer it if you visit around there!

When you are travelling frequently, you begin to appreciate the sweetness of smiles and warmth of welcome. Marriott Marquis at Doha has become a second home to me and I purposely break my journey from Asia to Europe or America to enjoy their hospitality.
I particularly appreciate the front desk personnel (Marcel, Mohammed, Alain among others and especially SHeela); Guest relations especially Harlene Tiu and had a chance to meet Plum on this trip. It is amazing the conglomeration of people working here, I met Farida from Baku in Azerbaijan and Mamim from Nepal has been a friend for a while. Christian and Aries are obliging at the Executive Lounge so is Manisha. The rooms are well appointed and occasionally i feel ashamed of the sheer luxury of them, especially when you are given a room like 4201. Your status is well recognized at Marriott, it makes you want to stay there more and also try out other Marriott properties in other destinations. I look forward to my next stay and what a pleasure it is to fly the best airline in the world, Qatar Airways and to stay at one of the most welcoming hotels in the world both in Doha Qatar

Very nice hotel, we get a room with a nice city view and the persian gulf, the pool is very huge and clean. We stay until end of the month.

Excellent Hotel with lounge!! Can get a bit stuffy when overcrowded, but overall enjoyable experience. It's also the closest you'll come to a real sports bar in Doha.

Very comfortable hotel, well located next to a large mall. Pool is great, complimentary bottled water.
Exceptional service from all staff members.
Range of dining options is varied.

Stayed here for couple of nights, this place is amazing firstly due to its ideal location right in Westbay and secondly it Marriott.

Reason for the 5 Star review is being an Elite Member I can access the Executive Lounge which is a must at this location. I also experienced the best 2 room service attendants the names were Mr. Sager, and Mr. Stewart they were truly exceptional at making me feel comfortable with ordering over and over and over again. haha. I will be rebooking for my final day in Doha, Qatar at the end of this week. I stayed at 5 different Hotel during my 2 week trip and I must say going forward on any and all trips to Doha this Marriott will forever be my preferred Hotel. Oh yeah, almost forget the House Keeping is on point they do a great job of making you feel as if you just checked in every time they clean.

Very friendly hotel in the center of Doha. The hotel is situated in a super-modern development. Next to the hotel a large shopping center. Rooms are luxurious and simple. The bed is a fairy tale. Sleeping one poem. The rooms are clean and the service excellent. I was very pleased with the gift from the hotel manager. The pool is large and spacious. Two whirlpools only added. Pool service top. Higher prices, but that is one of those hotels. Also thank you to Qatarairways for allowing you to stay at this hotel.

After a year again here. I'm glad to be here. Super relax on your way home from Asia.

Crossroads Kitchen in Marriot is serving again. Seafood night is awesome and having so many delicious dishes.

Had cleaner rooms staying in cheap third world country hotels.

2 stars for the gym and connection to the mall.

Have been here several times for meetings, interviews and conferences. Each time, I have come away being impressed with the great maintenance done to the hotel. The staff are meticulous about keeping the rooms clean. The rooms are quite big and airy and I generally liked being here.

I will thoroughly recommend it to others.

Quiet and nice location with wonderful views of the towers area and the west bay in the city center of Doha

Marriott Marquis Doha is one fine hotel located in the heart of the City. It is connected to City Center mall. Crossroads is their signature restaurant

We have been to Wanasa , Ramadan tent for the Sahour with a friend. The food is variety and delicious. Staff is friendly and helpful. They have cool shisha and good band.

Currently I m staying as my check-in date 7th April 2021...Worst service, unprofessional staff and the food quantity is very little for the amount they charge.. not recommend....
