Highly comfortable room. All the staff here is excellent and they go above and beyond all expectations. Front desk staff Ariel and Melissa are exceptionally helpful, kind and professional. Great hotel.

Similarly to the last reviewer, I was underwhelmed by this chain STILL not having housekeeping. Also, you must still REQUEST in room coffee setups. I travel all over the country and this is the only chain acting like it's still July 2020. Also, $32/day for parking??? The garage is always more than half empty. I am considering that this may be my last marriot stay.... ever. It used to be my favorite chain.

I'm sorry to write a negative review but I have to tell the truth. They refused to give us any maid service or even clean sheets and towels so we could make the bed ourselves. Even worse, Saturday night there was a very loud party in the room next door which went on until 4:30am and the noise kept us up all night. We called the front desk and pleaded with them to have security tell the very loud neighbors to wrap up the party but as soon as security walked away the noise was as loud as ever. We didn't sign up for this and the hotel manager was rude when we asked for a deletion of that sleepless night's stay. We wasted our time and money here and would've slept better at a train station. Marriott has a serious management problem at this location. I emailed the CEO of Marriott and customer service at the corporate headquarters. Stay at your own risk but don't except to be treated with respect here. Good luck!

Pretty disappointed in this place. Nobody explained to me they weren't doing room service. And really, it makes no sense to blame Coronavirus. What does that have to do with it? Especially when most hotels ARE offering room service.

Big cop out.

My wife and I stayed at this Marriott in La Jolla ...

My wife and I stayed at this Marriott in La Jolla only to find out that this location doesn t provide housekeeping services. Imagine a Marriott refusing to change your towels and sheets and clean the room? At these prices? A Marriott? Wow. Unreal. And in addition to that, they charge an extra $32 a day for self parking. Not valet parking, self parking. Stay at your own risk. Good luck!

Nice hotel, staff was friendly. We had a room at the very end of the hall with a wrap-around balcony. The room was clean and well maintained. The gym was well thought out and had lots of equipment.
My two things that caused me to lower my rating were- $32 a day parking fee, that s outrageous. No hot tub at the pool- the air was quite cool when we arrived, although the pool was fairly warm, the hot tub is what we wanted.

The hotel is at an amazing location. The rooms were tidy and had a good amount of sound insulation from both the adjacent room and the outside. The view from the room we had was pretty. The most important part about this hotel is the location and access to several markets right around the hotel. Overall I believe the price we paid was reasonable.
