Marriott Hotel, London Review

I've been going for the 2 years and I've not been disappointed with loyalty program and customer service

I was never was a Marriott Bonvoy member but was forced to given I am a long time SPG member and after the merge my account became Marriott.

Two weeks ago I purchased some points to add to my account as I wanted to use previously accumulated points. It says you get your points from 24-48 hours now two weeks later after having called this lovely chain , after sending emails etc they are still investigating why the points were not added to my account. The money was however taken from my bank and this is fraud for anyone American who perhaps is not well versed with EU laws.

What a shame the fall down of otherwise the best hotels in the world which I have enjoyed for years

Marriott is genuinely the Worst hotel group in the world.

I have taken screenshots of my bank account and of the email confirmation purchasing points. In the meantime the hotel I wanted to book with those points has increased the price and points requirements and given the issue is not resolved I am going to book with IHG hotels where at least my membership is valued and customer service is not such rubbish.

I'm contacting my bank tomorrow to claim a charge back given you are incapable of doing something as simple as that....
