I was injured in a accident I was never aware of a bill not being paid, until it was reported to my credit report. Once I saw it in contacted them immediately. They claimed they sent me a bill in the mail, but I never received. After speaking with several people, who were all rude and unwilling to work with me in any way on the issue, then claimed the hospital did not give them the correct information to bill. For one, I'm contacting them and trying to actually get the issue resolved, which I'm sure most people don't with medical bills that insurance doesn't cover. Second the Manor in which they communicated with me was ridiculous. A "I'm sorry this is policy, and this gs got mixed up, and this is all weighting can do" goes alot further when it's said with a smile than rude, short and unwillingness to help attitude. If your job is in customer relations, and you can't be nice, change jobs!
I was transported three blocks to a local hospital after a motor vehicle accident in Dec 2015. I first received a bill in September 2016 for $482.48 which I immediately paid in full. Then on December 24th, 2016 I received a letter from a collection agency demanding I pay then $482.48. This county needs to get their business in order as I have little time to spend correcting their errors.
