Currently attending to this college, it is a nice place to study. However, the tuition is too high for me as an international student. The teachers are all nice and helpful, and the campus is fantastic. However, one thing that troubles me a lot is the construction. Every year there are constructions in the campus. So far, they blocked half of A wing which connects D wing with the main gate. This makes me need to walk for a long distance to go to my classes time by time. It is really annoying!

This college is good for people who aim at succeeding. It treats students as adults and gives them the tools to succeed. Success is admired and respected. For students who prefer to have a social/ less driven experience, the school can seem bad because of misaligned priorities between the school and the student. That said, the competition is not dirty, it is an honest system and your success depends on you, it is like an honest contract between the school and the student.

One of the best Cegeps in Montreal. I have never had a bad teacher at Marianopolis, the workload is sizeable but very manageable if you have decent organisational skills. The teachers are extremely helpful and I found most classes to be very interesting. I didn't find the atmosphere to be too competitive, obviously there were some obnoxious students but that is true about every school.

I wish the school put more effort and money into their sports teams as most people didn't know much about Marianopolis athletics. Overall, I throughly enjoyed my 2 years at Marianopolis.

From a parent point of view, I think this college is excellent. It's well organized, the advisors are knowledgeable and serviable, the atmosphere seems down to earth and casual. Everyone there is friendly and takes the time to answer all of your questions and concerns.
Of course most students there are smart, but not all the parents drive Audis despite it being a private college. Some say it's a competitive school, but I think a little academic competition can be healthy (better than beer bong challenges if you ask me) and the right kind of peers and friends with similar interests and objectives is inspiring and encouraging. Especially nowadays with college dropout rates because of bad influences & too much 'fun'.
More importantly, my son loves Marianopolis and is eager to learn and reach his goal. This college is an investment in your child's future. So what is it costs a few thousand dollars ? This school is affordable to everyone because they offer financial aid and payment plans. So it's not just the 'rich' kids that can attend. Besides, being admitted takes very good grades to begin with regardless of their parents bank account.

It's probably the best college in Montreal and Quebec. The students are very competitive with each other. In this school, high marks are more important than social status. It's a private college. So tuition fee might be too expensive for some people. But yeah. This school is lit
