I'm in love with this venue it's by far the best Italian restaurant and Caffe in Glasgow
if you ask me on a foodies verdict !
The dishes are always perfect and offer a really good menu to cater for all who like their a la carte dining .

The terrace is the perfect spot for a glass of wine or beer in the sun whilst watching the tennis at the Western Tennis Club.

open early 7 days a week for breakfast, lunch and dinner. We are also busy in the afternoon for a late lunch or a coffee and cake.

Buon Appetito!!
From the Parma province in Northern Italy

The Giovanazzi family hails from the beautiful village of Borgotaro in the province of Parma, Northern Italy. Caffe Parma embodies the gastronomic heritage of Northern Italy with an eye on contemporary Italian food, drink and socialable dining.

In 1991 Angelo and his family opened Paperino s pizzeria on Sauchiehall Street and in 2005 Stefano opened Paperino s in Glasgow s west end a venue which has become a firm favourite with locals receiving great reviews for it s no nonsense delicious pizza and pasta dishes with its pizza claimed to be the best in town! .

Italian flair and passion in Glasgow's West end ;) not to be missed out on and by far the best venue for Italian dining in Glasgow by a country club mile ;))

Have been a few times now , pasta good, mixed fish platter very average not well presented. We had oysters to start and when asking for another portion was told they had run out this was 7 30 on a Friday night. Some staff friendly others very sullen.
The owner was there on Friday evening and he was not very welcoming .

What a huge disappointment! We waited 15 mins before they even took the drinks order, another 10 mins before they arrived and I can assure you it was not that busy and there was enough staff. The drinks finally arrived and we finally ordered our food, but alas another 35 minutes would pass before it arrived. I have to admit that most of the food was good apart from the pasta dish that was tepid at best. The staff were at best polite but uninterested and unattentive ,we could have died of thirst in the time it took to order more drinks and then to arrive minus one drink we ordered. I hope this was a one off bad night or I would seriously advise you to take your money elsewhere.

Service was massive let down. Waited excess of 45m for starters to turn up, waitress did apologies on two occasions, but more frustratingly customer who were seated after us got their starters straight away!
Reading reviews on "bad service" from trip advisor are not exaggerated. As first timer unlikely to return again.

Went here as a group of 5 for Friday dinner. I had the raw tuna starter and the mussel soup for main. Both courses were very nice and I'd highly recommend them though the soup can be a bit spicy! However, their prices are quite high for the More

A great place for Italian food. The decor is very nice and the atmosphere is great. I have tried the Cajun chicken calzone and the penne crema pasta. Both were fantastic. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Been here multiple times.

Cafe Parma observed covid-19 good practice, leading to a more relaxed ambience. We were well served by attentive staff and all four of us found the food very good. It was a cracking night. Well done cafe P!

Very attractive and well located Italian eatery. Good food across the menu and clearly well liked by the locals. And there's the problem in my view. Getting the attention of staff is super challenging and trying to order was equally frustrating as there seems to be little cliques of regulars who dominate the services and company of the entire waiting staff

Atmosphere and drinks are good but sadly the food does not live up to expectations. Recently there for birthday celebration and was very disappointed. The staff did not know answers to simple questions, when you could get their attention, had to tell them how to open bottle of bubbles, food which as supposed to be spicy was bland, not chilli oil or flakes although told had both. Service was poor and food seems to be hit or miss. It's a shame as well located and nice outside space

Caffe Parma is a continuation of one of the best Italian kitchen traditions in Glasgow - a city in which there is no little competition - think Parmagiano and Paperinos. The location is a most pleasant spot in the north West End. More vital is tbe food. Genuine regional cuisine, sometimes with a little twist. A changing menu to banish boredom, with a monthky Italuan region selection. A carefully chosen, knowledgeable wine list that is not just value for money but very high quality. And the fifth star is totalky earned by the staff, front of house and in the kitchen. Bravissimo!!!

Came in just for a drink on a busy Saturday night. We were lucky to get in as it was crammed to the gills. It's a warm place and not so noisy that you cannot have a long conversation with a long lost son. The bottle of Puglian primitivo we shared was more than passable.

Poor experience in bar. Said that they were short staffed. Charged different prices for the same round. Only one lager on tap. The more expensive one. What a surprise. Told that they had another lager on tap, I P A. I gave up at this point although I was offered my over paid money back. I declined.

Long waiting times.

Long waiting times.
It took ages to get the bill (waiter forgot) and after that it come with 5 things out of 9 that I did not ordered!
Food wise -tuna carpaccio very good, fish platter was awful thought. Overall good looking but bad restaurant without proper management which you expect from this prices.

Heard great things about this place especially the kids menu. The food was good however the service was appalling. Our waitress didn't know the kids menu and argued against giving a salad when the menu stated that the dish came with one. She forgot about drinks when asked. And when another member of staff was asked because our waitress had forgotten he slammed them down on the table! I found the atmosphere unfriendly and not great for kids and I'm not likely to return.

Probably has the privilege of hosting one of the rudest waiters I have ever encountered in 20+ years of dining. SERIOUSLY, SACK THIS WAITER. He has been mentioned in other reviews. Aggressive, abrasive and made such a simple request (asking for a table) into something more sinister. When I simply asked said waiter to repeat what he said as it was busy/noisy, he seemed to take great delight in relaying what he originally said in a loud, patronising tone. If it counts for anything, the gentleman behind the bar that eventually intervened was very helpful but by this point I wanted to leave. AVOID AT ALL COSTS.
