The schools here are amazing with great staff, teachers principals, etc. The district has been getting better and better each year and has listened to students and parents on feedback to improve the district! Problems are resolved when involving students and the community there is nice and amazing. There's a group for every student there and I just say keep it up mapleton suck on it Adams 12.

School is great but horrible bus drivers. They do no care if you are waiting in line or trying to leave they will cut infront of you with out hesitation!!!! Also staff gets mad when we arrive atleast 5min early because it blocks the main street but that's not the parents fault that it gets blocked it's the system they run that makes it difficult!! I would recommend this school been taking my child here for 3years now !!!!

There are teachers who could dedicate time to help students in need but there are some problems I've encountered.

Some of the staff do not provide enough information on how to do a certain subject. There are other's who has been rude to insult students due to their physical appearance.

Some administrators are fun and outgoing. I appreciate the fact that they will provide as much motivation to see students succeed.

The food hasn't been good. I wish the district will provide more options for students to enjoy. The quality needs to improve as well.

I'll give it a solid 3 stars at the moment.

Trailside Academy denied my son from attending due...

Trailside Academy denied my son from attending due to his IEP. I enrolled him early and was told his application was on hold. After weeks of calling and getting the run around of who would be able to give me information, I was told by the special ed department that they had to give everyone an opportunity to enroll in district. We live 5 houses away. Two days after there school opened, I finally received the calling stating he was unable to be enrolled due to them not being able to fulfill his needs. I specifically asked is it because he is special needs and has an IEP? And the answer was yes . I feel they discriminated him because of this disability. I spoke to my neighbor who also enrolled her daughter and son. She didn t disclose her daughters IEP, and they were accepted. Three days in , they told her that the daughter wasn t welcomed back. My thought is correct. If you have a child with an IEP, I wouldn t bother with this school.
