Maples Repertory Theatre Review

Just saw the drowsy chaperone. What a fabulous performance by the cast!! So glad that while i was visiting family from out of state that i got to enjoy this performance!

Absolutely loved my experience at Maples Rep! Totally blown away!!!!!

There's a gem in northeast Missouri offering big city entertainmet without to the moon pricing. Maples Rep has gained a rep for high quality stage show productions similar to what you would find in the big cities. If that wasn't entertaining enough, they up the ante offering several various soires sure to please the pleasure seeking, fun-loving, I want to have a good time person. If you want to feel like you just saw a broadway production in New York City but not leave the area, then make plans to enjoy entertainment at its best: come to Macon and Maples Repertory Theatre and prepare to be Wowed....because you will be.

Great local shows. As good as I have seen in Columbia, and worth the drive to see. Wear a coat during the winter, as the theatre can get cold.

I thought the show was amazing! My little girl could barely contain herself!... and really didn't. Haha. The cast was great and I thought the talent was even better than the movie!!! Great show!!!

They perform excellent productions with Equity Actors. Todd Davison does an amazing job choosing plays and musicals that are crowd pleasers and had recruited an excellent house staff. And the volunteers make the theatre warm and friendly. Get a season subscription today.

I've gone to see several plays here and they are great. Very homey and quaint environment.

I have gone to several performances and have never seen a bad one. The people that run it are friendly and helpful.

Play was great. Balcony was treacherous for elders and not handicapped accessible. Ground floor seating good. Enjoyed both events trunk show in am and Play in afternoon.

Million Dollar Quartet was amazing! One of the best shoes yet! The music was phenomenal!

i watched mama mia with mom and my grandma. we had an incredible time! the show was amazing and the environment was jsut as good. clean atmosphere! the desserts at intermission were delicious and a nice touch. i would definitely recommend spending the extra dime on getting one!

Never a bad performance at the Maples! Truly a gem to find in small-town Missouri. Local talent mixed with rising pros from around the country never disappoint in a well-chosen blend of musicals, comedy, and drama. Bargain prices for single shows or full memberships. Go! Enjoy!

Never been there but it appears to generate revenue for the town and I SUPPORT ANYTHING that does that.

It was really cool to see the old theater restored, but the view from my seat was not the greatest at all due to a pillar. I was pillar blocked...literally.

Maples Repertory Theatre is a truly wonderful place, not only to come and see a show, but also to work at. It is only week three and I already feel accepted and integrated into the community. If given the opportunity in the future, I will most definetly be coming back!,
