I gave them one star because there are so many kind and caring nurses and aids there. However the management get ZERO stars. BEWARE they are putting rehab and nursing home residents on a dementia locked ward because they say they don't have beds for them. They save the "nice beds" for those with the best payor source. they used up mom's good insurance and now they refuse to put her in rehab where she belongs. Mom does NOT have dementia but she is getting physically and emotionally worse on a dementia ward.

My mother was in this place for 2 weeks until I took her out. She said they barely socialized with her unless she was taking her meds. There are some caring CNAs and RNs that work here but most of them are miserable and only care about a paycheck. DO NOT PUT A LOVED ONE IN HERE. It should be a last resort.

This place doesn t even deserve one star!! The most unprofessional nursing home i ve been in. They put inexperienced LPNs as supervisors...they purposely ignore my calls and don t let my mother call me from their facility!! They put on an act when the state comes, when in reality they are not that great!! This is not a trust worthy place to put your family never. Very sketchy!

My grandmother was here for 6 months. I don't think she liked it...I thought it was OK...my mom had a better experience there. The physical therapy is excellent. Nice staff - could be more attentive - but, I think that is true of many nursing homes/hospitals...understaffed...they do the best they can.

i only gave it one star because it will not let me do 0 stars. I worked here as a CNA for 6 months. Loved it because of the residents but Due to the staff i think this might be the worst place to work. I got assaulted by one of the LPNs and they somehow managed to put the blame on me even though i had proof! They let him still work without any consequences because he has been working there for a long time and they re too lazy to look for new staff. That whole situation made me think if he assaulted a co worker, then what goes on behind closed doors? There are many CNAs and RNs here that are caring but unfortunately there are also ones who think they can do whatever without any consequences. Don t risk it by putting a your family here. There are other facilities will take better care of your loved ones!

Highly recommended!!! I worked for this company for 5 years. This is definitely the nicest, cleanest, and respectful places I no of. I enjoyed working here so much! The staff and residents are wonderful people. This is a family owned business and they take pride in there place. I will always recommend Maples to anyone for employment and patient care! The nursing care is excellent with compationate worker's.

Very upset with this place. My mothers mother was brought here. Someone contracted covid in the building and of course that spread to the elderly. They lied about how bad covid hit her saying she just refused to take medicine but instead she couldn't breathe which is why they moved her to the hospital. She is in rough condition due to covid and this place wasn't much help with being informative to families and almost treating it like no problem. As much as I'd like to give a better review this whole situation causes me to do other wise.

In order to post you must put 1 star but please understand they are a minus 10. I just took my husband out of there and I would not recommend any one put someone they love there. Is was a disgrace in every way. They said my husband needs supervision to shower which he does but in 6 days they never gave him a shower so how would they know. He is diabetic and they would have killed him with insulin if he did not no to say no I don't get it. He takes medication in the pill form not insulin (they wanted to give him 4 that is right 4 injections at one time. I could go on for hours but I will say it is a disgrace. I am filing a formal complaint with the state and every agency possible. The charge nurse was the worst.

I beg of you not to put your loved one in this facility. The negative reviews are spot on.
It was a horrible, horrible nursing home before covid, and now, I can t imagine the hell these poor residents have been through in the last year. My heart aches for them! The owners and Dir of nursing should be held accountable for all the lies they tell.

I just called to schedule a tour. I know they have a respite contract with our hospice. They magically know they don t have any beds avaialable weeks from now, even though I said our dates are flexible. I ve been aware of Maples discriminating based on payor source in the past; thought they had changed. What this means is that they will gladly take you if you pay privately or are coming from the hospital on Medicare because those rates are higher. If you are on Medicaid, near Medicaid, or Hospice, they don t want you.

Quaint, quality, and nestled in beautiful Wrentham. My grandmother has been at Maples for over two years. She loves the big picture window and bird feeders outside that keep wildlife close. She has had art classes and music and friends with whom she eats dinner (pre Covid). My grandmother was skin and bones upon entering, but is now a vibrant 98 year old! Sunshine is so important and I appreciate how residents are taken on walks or even supported to sit outside and just enjoy the natural beauty of the area. I also honor how administrators know every resident by name. My Grandmother is safe, cared for and respected. Thank you!

Spoke to social worker last week to obtain information to admit my elderly mother with dementia. She could not have been more rude. Rushed me off the phone and could not answer basic questions regarding bed availability. Gives a VERY POOR first impression when the social worker who is supposed to work with families is rude.
