We stayed at this park full time for 5 months and our experience was overwhelmingly positive.

All of their staff are the best in the business. They expanded their office hours when demand was there. Laundry facilities were clean and accessible. The park was maintained well and was always clean. Any time there was a hiccup, it was handled immediately. Lots of tree shade meant that the RVs stayed cooler during the day.

You don't have a lot of options for truly nice RV parks in the Sedona area, so if you're shopping around on where to stay, this should be your first choice. Every other park nearby in cornville or in cottonwood are small and cramped. Plus, you're a 25 min drive to the heart of Sedona.

Free wifi worked perfectly during our stay, and they offer a paid tier for those looking to do more while they visit. Cable TV is provided as well but there are extra costs. OTA coverage for local channels was enough for us, we only struggled to get NBC consistently.

There's a wonderful hiking trail that connects to the park grounds. Plus a spectacular view on top of a hill just outside the park grounds.

Stayed here a few years ago, and WOW what a difference, the place has been renovated and all the long term residents are gone.
Also, the location is perfect for visiting local attractions, and riverfront access is huge, especially with children. II would certainly recommend Rio Verde RV to all.

Love this place, and especially the manager, Jenn! We stayed here for a month-and-a-half and loved our spot by the Verde River (#65!). The river unexpectedly flooded (talking a 100-year flood... maybe 1000-year!) just before we arrived and to be safe, Jenn coordinated the relocation of everyone on the river and gave us a spot by the main office for a couple of days until it died down and we could move into our river spot. From the word go, we knew she had our best interests in mind! I would agree with some of the reviews that the amenities need sprucing up, but they're working on that and the flooding destroyed a lot of their landscaping work along the river. Overall, the amenities are good and the people really make the difference, at least for us. Amenities include full hookups, laundry, bathrooms/showers, a secure mail area, and nice public spaces (gazebo/picnic area and a beach area on the river).

Stayed at in the tiny homes in the RV park. They were so cute and comfortable. The houses had every thing I could need including a coffee maker ! I also had a view of the river from my tiny house, which you could walk along. All in all, a great experience at the Rio Verde RV park.

I had to travel through Cottonwood/Sedona and needed an inexpensive place to stay (the hotels were out of my league). I wound up staying in a tiny home and it was so comfy and easy. The location is close to everything you need: shops, groceries, gas, and outdoor entertainment. The staff was helpful and whenever I had a small issue, they were quick to help. I'll definitely be back.

What an awesome park! I stayed in one of the tiny houses, spent time along the river, and hiked to the hilltop to see the view of the valley. So close to trails, restaurants. There is an organic farm next door and a butcher across the street to buy meat and produce from.

We love this place. We went for fathers day weekend & fell in love. My wifes bday was the next week and i surprised her with another trip booked .
We stay at the tiny house and it works out amazing. We have 2 kids 8&9 both boys and they cant get enough of the place.
Lots of trails, private river and surrounded by good people .

Can you say White Trash Ghetto! Absolutely the worst RV park I have ever been to. The spots are so close together that you are packed in like sardines and the place is seriously outdated! While they claim that they only allow long-term visits a maximum of just a few months, it is obvious from the makeshift shanties sprinkled about that there are many exceptions. While the park plays on the proximity to Sedona Arizona, even taking out "Vortex Tours" make no mistake it is nowhere near the caliber of any accommodations of Sedona; or of the rest of the Verde Valley for that matter. Odly enough, it is not even bargain priced! If you are on a vacation, you owe it to yourself to bypass this place and find accommodations at one of the many better parks!
There were some wonderful people of course; but they can be found anywhere you go.

I was just going to stay here for a few weeks but ended up staying for 4 months! Great park and awesome staff. The owners and employees were great people, very nice and helpful. The location is ideal, lots of hiking trails accessible from the park and many more in the Sedona area. Grocery and shopping minutes away.
