Our stay was excellent! My boyfriend and I needed a last minute place to stay for a business trip as things were just starting to open up after COVID-19. Justin and Brian at the front desk were lovely and extremely accommodating for all of our needs, despite the very limited staff and several precautions put in place during the pandemic. The rooms are beautiful, cozy, and clean. Great location, just a short walk away from several restaurants and bars. Not to mention an AMAZING rooftop patio with great views. Highly recommend! Thank you!

I love this hotel! The rooms we stayed in were big, bright and airy with lots of windows. Even the bathroom was big! Plenty of closet space as well. Comfortable bed. Our room did have fridge in it. And all very clean.

There is a pool and hot tub which we used and a steam room in both the men's and women's changing rooms which we didn't use. There is a cupola deck with terrific views. The hotel is on Main street in Vineyard Haven smack dab in the middle of lots of shops and restaurants and is just a (long) stones throw from the ocean. We definitely will be back!

We stayed at the Mansion House for 3 nights in late April. It was beautiful and well appointed. The front desk staff were courteous and knowledgeable. It was classic Martha's Vineyard. We overlooked the statement made about how housekeeping would not come unless requested ( due to Covid) so we were unsure why the room wasn't cleaned. It's right near the steamship authority so it's convenient getting in and out. We walked to Oak Bluffs ( about 2.5 miles. We like a good walk) from the hotel. There isn't a clear path and you'll be walking on the side of a road at times. Edgartown required a drive. This is a good value for the price. Great hotel.

Great place to stay in vineyard Haven. Short walk from the ferry. Have parking if you bring your car to the island. Great pool for lap swimming and gym for non-swimmers. Nice view of the harbor from their rooftop deck. Provide a continental breakfast with cereal, pastries, granola bars, yogurt and fruit.

Room is nice. Victorian style. It had a nice view of the steamship. Nice view of sunset.

Service : I felt downplayed by the 2 guys at the front desk who tried to upsell a higher price room to me. The first night I got there I request to extend 1 more night same price. I was rejected 2 times. They said my room is not available tomorrow and that I have to upgrade to a King room which is $30 - 50 more. Then, I go on the website, there was availability for my room.. with the lower price.?? So I call the number next morning and the woman told me it is available! she took the time to arrange the rooms so that I can stay in the same room which both guys didn't care to do. and the young guy gave me a rude look when I ask more questions as if I should feel ashamed for asking too many questions (I felt uncomfortable in my stomach.) I'm glad someone did help otherwise my trip would be ruined.. but no guest should have to go around 3 times in order to get assisted correctly.

We decided to stay here for the spa and knowing that we could get to Edgartown and Oak Bluffs easily from Vineyard Haven. Check in was very easy and the staff were knowledgeable of the area. Our room was huge and very clean. Hard wood floors and very comfortable beds. The bathroom was perfect and had perhaps the best shower head on a hotel shower that I can remember. If the weather was warmer, we would have taken advantage of the rooftop area with its great view of the harbor and town. We had an issue where we broke a make-up mirror in the bathroom and the staff cleaned everything up as if we were checking in for the first time. Excellent service.

We stayed during the middle of September and it is tough to review some things due to the Covid crisis. The hotel is in a location close to everything, but many places were closed, especially in Vineyard Haven. But we got by and ate a lot in Oak Bluffs where more places seemed to be open. Edgartown, not so much.

About the only critique I had was that we were in a room off to the side of the lobby. There was a door there to a hallway that is supposed to remain closed so the guests won't hear what's going on in the lobby, but it was always kept open despite being right across from the front desk. My wife and I had to keep closing it so we could get some quiet time, but all in all, the place was excellent.

Would stay again.
