Wow just wow what a beautiful place staff are brilliant

Gorgeous wedding venue not too far from Cheltenham centre. Easily accommodate up to 150 guests. Seperate ceremony and then dinner halls with bar stuff available at both. Enough parking within easy walking distance of all the guests too. In regards to dinner venue, stage is available should you wish to hire a band for your evening.

So grateful for the exceptional team at Manor by the Lake for going above and beyond and giving us our dream wedding during such uncertain times. Would highly recommend, we thoroughly enjoyed our day from start to finish, the delicious food, beautiful manor and gorgeous views THANK YOU

Went there to a friends wedding so didn't see all of the place but what we did see was very nice, settings once on the grounds were stunning.

How do we even start to describe how amazing and incredible the Manor and all their staff are!! We got married here on Sunday and it was the most spectacular day and night. Me and my bridesmaids stayed in the butterfly cottage the night before which was such a beautiful place and an amazing touch to our wedding. It enabled me and the girls to have such a relaxing evening before the big day. Sarah was absolutely incredible from start to finish. She welcomed us, helped us carry all of our things into the offices and the cottage. She returned later on the night with some chocolate dipped strawberries then again to say goodbye for the evening and to see if we needed anything else. She came back first thing in the morning when she arrived at the manor. The day ran so smoothly and it was down to Sarah and her incredible team. Each and every member of staff went above and beyond. Even the bar man (I am so sorry i can't remember your name) that was helping me at 2 in the morning, finding me a charger. They really do all go above and beyond for you, even doing things that they do not need to do. The place itself is absolutely magical and picturesque. Every time we visited our venue (meetings, the taste, the showcase) it never once lost its appeal or sparkle. We both even said if we won the lottery there is not a chance that we would ever marry anywhere else than the amazing place we had already chosen. Every single room in the manor is incredible, from all the seating areas, the amazing Rock bar (where the lads vanished too now and then) to the beautiful ballroom and the stunning bedrooms. It really is all perfect in every way. Me and my Husband would like to thank every single person involved in the whole process, from when we first visited the Manor to the Monday morning when we left a married couple. P.S Another massive thank you to Sarah, as even with her job done for the Strevens Wedding she still ran after us down the driveway as we had left our top two tiers of cake on the roof of the car (oops!!!) So thank you so much!!!!!!!

A lovely wedding venue. Plenty of opportunities for photos. Despite being close to a retail park, you wouldn't know it as it is very peaceful. It would be even better if more accommodation was available on site.

A fantastic event, great service and the food really was exceptional. Very impressed and was my 5th visit so clearly doing something right.

I would just like to say a Very Big Thank You to Manor by the Lake Cheltenham for the way we were treated and looked after by All your Staff especially Dale from the time we arrived on the 13th June 2015 for The Wedding of our Daughter Laura May to Ryan Preddy to departing the following day 14th after a magnificent champagne breakfast
The whole occasion was fantastic, food totally outstanding, served piping hot and plenty of it !!
The Pig Roast in the evening was also amazing, we were looked after 100% for the Whole Event and will certainly be recommending Manor to everyone who has a Wedding coming up in the future.

I got married here recently and I have to say that the venue and staff were amazing. The setting was beautiful and Sarah the wedding planner could not have been anymore helpful. The whole day surpassed all of my expectations. All of our guests commented on the beautiful surroundings, the fabulous food and how it was one of the most beautiful venues they had ever been to. I only wish I could do it all over again.

The venue was beautiful from the Manor to the grounds so well looked after. The staff were absolutely fabulous so kind and thoughtful we cannot fault them at all. Food was delicious. I cannot thank them all enough for making our sons wedding so very special from beginning to end. We stayed overnight and the rooms are great with lovely views and breakfast was delicious. Was there as party of the jury. Both defendants were tried in gorgeous surroundings. Fantastic support by staff as the event progressed. Even managed to move the whole trial swiftly indoors because of the rain?

Would I go again? As a visitor, yes. Would I get married here? No. Because I'm already married

Idyllic, lovely staff, perfect venue, easy to get to

Having worked at the manor numerous times as a wedding photographer, i am happy to give the venue a glowing review. The team behind the venue are fantastic - very knowledgeable and professional, always a smiley friendly face. The house is truly beautiful and offers itself to oodles of beautiful wedding photographs.

Went for a friend's wedding, stunning venue, the photos look amazing but, the room we had, had no heating. They were under staffed I think there was a total of 5 people for the whole day, the honesty bar had no way of paying so bride paid More

Had a pick up from there easy parking ect good food etc well worth it

Lovely setting for a wedding, drinks etc very expensive.

Bring your wellington boots if the weather is less than sunny, awful trek and I mean 'trek' if you have the unfortunate experience of walking through and up the clay ridden paths, shoes and clothes covered by the time we actually and finally reached the main house. Overbearing staff who did not understand or appreciate that one was not drinking at the Wedding (yes, there are some of us out here!) Not enough seats after Wedding - they seemed to be cleared and stacked away, this was unfortunate as the more elderly in the Wedding party has no option but to stand for the duration between bridal party photos and being 'allowed' into the Ballroom.

My wife and I got married here. Such a beautiful location with staff that couldn't do enough for us. If your looking for a fantastic venue to get married in Cheltenham, with fab food and caring attentive staff, manor by the lake is well worth checking out!

I had my wedding here this week and it was totally amazing in every way.

The venue beautiful and I cannot compliment the staff highly enough. Nothing was too much trouble, including dealing with a variety of dietary requirements and miraculously producing more gluten free canapes for my Dad when he fancied some more.

Everyone was stunned by how perfect the day was. I am certain that this wouldn't have been the case without Sarah, Ben, Ieuan and the rest of the team. I cannot thank you all enough for going above and beyond on every way.

I wouldn't hesitate to recommend the venue to anyone and would book it again without hesitation.

It looks good but be aware of the construction site next door and accessing the manor via a large shopping centre roundabout.
