I had a great experience with an agency I recently used. The service was excellent and the staff was very professional. I would highly recommend them to anyone in need of their services.

If you want to be treated with honesty , common decency, and respect, run from this company. From the beginning of my dealings with them, the realtor/broker Earleen Lewis was dismissive and impatient. Mr. Major, who is the owner of the company, was not much better. We were attempting to lease a foreclosed home from Fannie Mae of which we were 16yr tenants (yes, sixteen years) and the Major Agency was chosen by Fannie Mae as the agent assigned to our case. I wanted specific information in writing as to the programs offered so that I could go over the pros and cons of each program and have something in writing to reference when discussing said programs with my family; and, they would not email the requested information or answer specific questions in written form. Once meeting with them, you are coerced to sign paperwork without a clear understanding because their "set answer" to any question you ask is "we don't know", "we have to ask Fannie Mae", "we can only do what Fannie Mae says". It seems then that they are largely uneducated about the entity who employs them. It appears they are not used to dealing with anyone who has specific questions and concerns and articulates them. Questions, and anything that requires any extra effort to get those questions answered on your case, other than what they are standardly accustomed to, is met with hostility and disdain. You definitely won't get any questions answered in writing. To further summarize, I discovered that my feelings that we were being unfairly treated and discriminsted against were not unwarranted. When the real estate agent, Earleen Lewis, was recently leaving a message on my voicemail for me to give her a call, at the end of the message, she forgot to make sure her phone had ended her call, and so it kept recording. She expressed to her coworker that she was handling "the crazy lady Ms. Rushing" and continued to refer to me in a loud exaggerated voice as "the crazy lady" with "marbles missing" and whose "elevator was broken" and whose "elevator did not go up to the top floor". She criticized Mr. Major and the way he handled his business, saying she would personally handle "me" differently; and, so whether he liked it or not, she was going to communicate with me from his email as if it came directly from him. She went on to say if he didn't like it, that was too bad, then he should have done it himself then. I was, and am, appalled. How would she have dealt me differently? Discriminated against me even more perhaps? And she wasn't done there. She continued to say that I did not deserve a check from the "Cash for Keys" program, if I even got a check, because I probably wouldn't get one anyway; and, any check should go to the original homeowner, not my family and I as tenants. Does that sound like someone working in your best interest and someone you can trust???? I called Mr. Major and made him aware of the recording and he began to ask me several times to keep it just "between us", because he is a pastor and ministers at a local church; and, it took him 7yrs to become an agent with Fannie Mae. Then, after being made aware that she was caught on tape, Ms. Lewis left a message saying she was sorry and to please forgive her in Jesus, Mighty Name. I am a Christian woman myself from a Christian family, and it bothers me for people to play the "religion card" and "Christian card" after they have behaved badly, in order to coerce you into excusing their repugnant behaviour. Seems like 'CYA' and complete 'Cover-Up' time to me, and very disingenuous because they don't want the recording "leaked". Dealing with this agency has been a horrific nightmare with a lack of humanity, empathy, and professionalism. In the famous words of Mya Angelou, "When someone shows you who they are, Believe Them". The Major Agency and Earleen Lewis has shown exactly who they are, and I believe them; Out of Earleen Lewis' own mouth, and according to her own words, and the cover-up they are attempting; very much like the thief who is not sorry that he stole, but sorry that he got caught.
