Main Line Models and Talent Review

I got to unsolicited message based on my Backstage profile and resume that includes feature films with major stars, co-hosting major MTV shows, performances on Broadway with major stars. I don't even have to talk to them to know that this is a scam.

when I read these reviews I see people are being told to pay for classes or headshots or whatever. Right there is the scam. No honest agent ever asks you to take classes because no legitimate agent is interested in anyone who hasn't already figured out how to build their career. if you haven't already taken it upon yourself to learn your craft why would they be interested in spending time and money on you?.

Even their own website that says they are an agency and management company that is a lie. they are either an agent, licensed in the state they are in as an agent who gets their income as a fixed percentage, something between 10% and 20% depending upon the kind of work, only from the work they book for a performer, or they are a manager who does not require licensing in churches whatever they want. what they are definitely not both agent and manager.

they are unable to book work in New York, Atlanta, Chicago or Los Angeles because each of those states has strict laws that they cannot call themselves an agent unless they are registered with the state That's why they are in Philadelphia the cream cheese and scrapple capital.

I love the agency. I have been with them for many years and have never had an issue. You do have to pay for classes to be sure you know what you're doing. They just don't want to send someone who isn't comfortable and knowledgeable out into the field. I live over an hour away and will drive whenever needed. If you're serious about wanting to do this, then they will find you work. Just be ready because a lot of calls happen last minute.

I met with them twice they were very nice and told me that I wouldn't need to put any money forward and they would love to have me. Then suddenly I get a call saying about me paying $175 one time fee I wouldn't have to repay if I did it soon to be in their booking system or $230 for me to be in the booking system with my photos on there. As a working freelance model I knew better to fall for this. After explaining I did not have the money but would be interested in the other bookings they offer without the system cost as they explained to me that they do....I never heard back from them. Big red flag.

Total scam. After moving to CA in 2002 and learning how the process of getting work really happens, I look back and realized Main Line Models knows nothing about the business of modeling or acting.

I want to know what's it's Like going here everyday I always get told that me and my lil sis are rlly pretty and even strangers at the mall tell us I think I could get the job but I want to know if this is a scam or not first

I have been with them for years. I have been in national and regional commercials. If you are good they will find you work.

They are a scam. They had me take a few classes. I already had photos. They said I had to use their photographer. I paid over $100 for the photos and never received them. I took 8 classes for $48 each and never got any work.

Main line is amazing ! Lorraine is an excellent agent and all staff is extremely friendly they have amazing acting coaches and the best photographer. So happy and thankful to be apart of Main line

What kind of agency can you call yourself I came from south jersey almost a 2 hour drive they tell me to come at 7:30 I was here at 6:50 I turned the corner and all the lights were off why would you make an appointment if you aren't going to keep it. Never wasting my parents time / money here again. Even through the snowy weather we were here and it was light so you cannot make that excuse. NOT A LEGIT AGENCY! If you have a business you have to keep your word and keep it professional.
