Mahylon's BBQ Review

Good food with fair price. Had a little bit of everything for everyone :)

They have great barbecue. I wish they would open a place in Tulsa. They would do a great business.

The food is still like most Ok.restuarants flavorless.

Best barque place ever. If in around mostokie a must try. Only regret will be it's the only one of it's kind

Not my favorite. If you are a dry rub spice kind of person this place is for you! People were great.

BE AWARE OF TAKE OUT ORDERS! I ordered and paid for 2 different kinds of meat and when I got home they just gave me 1/2 of what I ordered on BOTH meats! Yet I was charged for the full amount of what I ordered! I tried to talk to a manager on the phone and the catering person who answered the phone was very rude and would not let me talk to the manager. We will definitely be letting our friends that frequently eat at this restaurant know what happened. We will NEVER be back to Mahylon s again.
**FOLLOWUP**. Was able to make contact with the manager. He was very kind, concerned and apologetic for this situation. He was also more than willing to compensate us. We stressed to him that this was not about compensation but more about the situation. If a company takes this kind of time to make a bad situation right, then they are definitely worth our continued business.

Their hamburgers are the best! Really good beef. Best I've had in this whole area, ever.

Theor chopped beef proportion was a little small but other than that the staff was very nice.

Mahylons for local bbq is awesome. This was our first trip there. We took my mom. She enjoyed it.

Well we ended up waiting 25 minutes for a slice beef sandwich and I was on my lunch hour so I was about 5 minutes late back to work and had to rush to eat. It did not seem like it was overly busy. The servers were very friendly though

If you want the best BBQ in Muskogee, look no further.

Was looking forward to trying this place. Thought I'd look at the menu so I'd have plenty of time to deside....
Well, says "2.00 plate charge for sharen". That ended it for me right there.
Many times we have eaten out with out pastors wife who was quite I'll and couldn't eat much or even our daughter in law who is very small and eats very little.
To have the nerve to charge.... CHARGE because someone cant eat a full order or maybe even some ones is on a very limited budget?
Just not my kind of people.

That said, I ordered a burger at a BBQ joint.
Will go back & try the BBQ next time

Great BBQ and steaks and ALWAYS great service! Love the fact that they have brought back some of Okie's favorite menu items like the "Okie's Special". I eat here regularly and I've NEVER been disappointed. Try the banana pudding!

Love this place. I'm not from Muskogee, but anytime I'm here, I stop at Mahlons

Really good place to eat wide variety of food. Can get take out. Kids menu is awesome.friendly employees.

Place had no respect for people. Their food was cold and and hard.when u ask for bbq sauce or ranch the 60 yr old waitress had attitude and acted like we stoled something. I will never go back. Quick trip has better food for less money. I feel ripped off.

The ribs are much better at Rib Crib. The steak was tender but tasteless. The salad was just lettuce. The pecan cobbler was excellent and so was the potato, but I went for the steak and the price was exhorbitant!!! Won't be back

It was great. Their sauces were a little more runny than a ketchup consistency. I liked the mild sauce but the hot didn't really stand out as great. They had something written on the wall that said there was a plate charge for sharing a single meal with someone. I don't know if they actually enforce this or if its a joke! Service was nice.

Amazing! Food is super tender and taste different than every other BBQ place in town (in a good way!) Super friendly. The owner actually came out and shook my hand and talked to me, you don t see that a lot! Thank you!
