Magnolia Science Academy - San Diego Review

this school is a good school with some issues which include a little bit of bullying but all together i do recommend sending ou kid here if you want them to have a good education.

I am a student at this school too, and the average distance i walk in that school is 2.0 miles. MILES!!!

Was not very epic, also they said I made a sink breaking cult.

This school is great! The campus is small but that means it's easier to get to your classes. The homework is pretty nice because we rarely get a lot of homework. If you're in 6th grade you're going to enjoy having Mr. Swift. If you're in 7th then Mr. Wertz and Mr. Prendergast is great.

Any one know about the murders here back in 1979? After that it was closed for over 20 years. Cleveland Elementary.

Awful school! After raising 4 children, I sent my 5th child, a daughter, to this school. Being a female scientist who worked in aerospace, I thought this school would be a good choice. I was totally wrong. This school does not practice what they preach. It was a continual battle with bullies & uncompassionate teachers. This school teaches to the common core test; there is no room for alternative ways to learn. I tried to convince my daughter to transfer after 1st semester but, she was determined to stand her ground at that school. As you can see, I raised a daughter who knows how to stand up for herself, but what a horrible experience at this school!

i am a former student at this school and i just graduated. My years in this school are some of the best in my life. The Admins create fun activities in this school to do. The Principal even goes out and plays with the kids during lunch sometimes. My favorite part of this school is the award winning archery team. I was part of this team myself and i had a lot of fun. The coach is very nice and helpful and the teammates are very friendly and cheer you on. I would recommend this school and the Principal to anyone who goes here!

As a student and students at magnolia we address our problems to staff member hoping they will fix the problem which does not happen what so ever. also we ve had problems that could ve endangered our lives and our school has a ranking and they said that it was not a 9 or a 10 and didn t take care of any of it even when it was life dangering. They also have very bad discrimination and racist problems and remarks they say to some of the students.

I am student and this school is very good .I have been There 2 years and have Learned a bunch.Also its very close and the students are nice

Campus was very dirty and not taken care of. My child was victim of teachers getting them in trouble on purpose. Many of the staff members were rude and bias.

My son loves this school. He says the teachers are stricter than his past teachers in Las Vegas, and he likes that, says he can tell they care about the kids leaning and kids don't try to disrupt. Also, class sizes are smaller, and they get to use chormebooks on some assignments, and after school tutoring is free. A+ even though the campus is old (2018 moving to new campus)

I'm glad I went to this school. But I have one problem. The bathroom stinks. Other than that, It's a great school that has great teachers and many different ways to learn things.

The Brenda Spencer murders happened at this location January 1979. I'm surprised they still even have a school here. The house where she killed the kids from is still across the street. I wouldn't be surprised if the parents didn't know this.

as a student there I love it there. The teachers are strict but not to much and their also super nice. My favorite teacher is all of them.

I just got to say... this school is um... interesting. I enjoy attending this school though. I am currently in 6th grade and well 6th grade is very interesting. At this school it is quite simple to get good grades because there is hardly any homework assigned and most of your grade is participation credit and homework, which I just said there is hardly any of. Though there is two things that don't make sense, one the bathrooms stink.. SO BAD! Also there isn't really anything special in science considering it's a science academy. Although there is a science fun club. Overall, Magnolia Science Academy(MSA) is a great school. BTW If you get Coach Oxford then, good luck!

I am a former student at this school and i can only say good things about it. This school has amazing teachers, yes they are strict but it is for the better. Our electives consist of band, art, spanish, robotics, and chinese. Kids come to school not wanting to learn, but with the teachers here they make it so it is fun to learn. I recommend you send your kid here because it is such a fun school, with such nice kids.

OMG I love this school it's the first year for my daughter for 8th grade I wish she start from 6th grade her past school was awful bad ..I'm glade she is a part of this school . she became a high honor roll student . I wish they have 6-12 .anyway the teachers ,principal all stuff are awesome 5*.
