Walked in with a Maglight that had a flickering issue. 5 minutes later they came back and said it was a battery issue - but the light is now working flawlessly. I'm just happy it works now, but I tried some old batteries I had already pulled out of it (batteries were the first thing I swapped to try and fix it) and it even works fine with old batteries now. Happy it works, but I don't think it was a battery issue.

Terrible customer service! I'm DEPLOYED in the military right now and my maglite flashlight that I use for work just stopped working! The blue finish is also fading to silver! I sent pictures to Maglite and explained the situation but they were very rude and refused to help given my situation. Last maglite flashlight I'll ever buy!
In 1984 I purchased your 3D cell rechargeable flashlite I am a retired Prof. Fire Fighter it's been refreshed 2times in 38 yrs 5 batteries 6 bulbs it's retired now also but still gets household use
I am thinking of an led mag lite but til then no maggie the mag lite RULES
Update: After leaving the review below and talking with of of their associates, who had told me the fees I mentioned below, I'm happy he took it up with his supervisor without my knowledge. Today I received the light back in good working order! Congratulations Mag Instruments for doing the right thing! Customer for life once again!
Sent back a flashlight and they told me that they wouldn't cover it because of the battery had leaked. Want $12 to replace the back end or $17 for a new flashlight. When I asked them to return my old one they wanted $7. This was NOT DISCLOSED to me by their website. I'll NEVER BUY NOR RECOMMEND THESE EVER AGAIN!
