I loved this place. I was really impressed. And the story of George Maduro was very sad. A real hero.
I loved this place. I was really impressed. And the story of George Maduro was very sad. A real hero.
Phenomenal park, with miniature Dutch buildings !! Trains and boats surround the park, with history shows and full of colors.
Very nice miniature town that show almost all the highlights of The Netherlands. Fun for young and old! Perfect for travelers who don't have the chance to see everything The Netherlands has to offer but still want to get a nice impression. For the kids there are a lot of fun mechanismes to play with. Parking is available for 8 per car. There is also a restaurant and gift shop on the premise.
Very good place . Beautifully made . Children will love it and even the adults too.
This is a very charming city. Attracts the mind of incoming tourists
Madurodam is a beautiful miniature park and one of the tourist attractions in the Netherlands. It is home to a range of 1:25 scale model replicas of famous Dutch landmarks, historical cities
.Madurodam was named after George Maduro.
Very beautiful and educational park!
It is a pity that far too many people are allowed to enter the park at the same time and that no employees are deployed to enforce compliance with Corona measures. Be careful with the expansion and take responsibility people, for yourself and the other! Stick to the indicated walking direction and keep your distance !!!
Nice shows about Dutch history. I didn't find those small houses that interesting and the food / drinks were very expensive.
Cool miniatures and there are a lot of them. There is where to run and play for children. There is a restaurant, prices are high. Tickets are best bought online. For example, a family ticket (2 adults 2 children) costs 20 cheaper.
Since the museum is from 11 o'clock, is it only for sightseeing in the Netherlands?
Madurodam is super fun! Although the Netherlands can be seen in small sizes, you also learn about the Second World War!
I am happy to recommend it to everyone, young and old alike. You have to spend at least 3 hours on it because there are smaller screenings that are not worth missing out and of course games for kids.
Young and old, visit the Netherlands in a few hours.
Very nice would go there again soon (I will do)
Very well arranged a lot to do I did not have high expectations but it was very pleasant du definitely recommended for young and old.
Marvellous piece of work and beauty....wanna go again and again
Being able to see all over the world in a short time. Nice walk and in between there is everything to explore and explore for the children.
Nice overview of the Netherlands, with many recognizable things. Only a pity that Drenthe and Flevoland are missing.
Miniaturholland, nice to look at, great attention to detail
Long ago, but had a nice day. Just have to have visited once.
Okay okay type place.. Can be good for one time experience..
A beautiful park that shows the cities of the Netherlands in miniature. Surprise the level of detail of each of the buildings and places. The airport is fantastic
Madurodam is certainly a spectacle that can only be truly appreciated in person. It is a tiny model city of famous landmarks and villages from towns all over the Netherlands. A few points to consider:
1. It is very interactive, so it will take more time than you think to see and interact with everything.
2. DEFINITELY go on a SUNNY day. I don't know if they close on rainy days, but the entirety of the model city is outside and NOT covered. So also, bring a hat/sunblock if there is full sunshine!
3. I went here on one of my first days in the Netherlands, and I wish I would have waited until the end of my trip so I could have more points of reference of what the actual structures look like in real life. Regardless, the monuments and model buildings are all very detailed and accurate.
4. The restaurant/cafe is very nice. It's a bit pricey, so if you want to save on food you can certainly bring your own and eat outside in the many places to eat. If you're not the pack-lunch type, the cafe definitely serves tasty food.
My sister and I really enjoyed spending an afternoon here. We also walked through the park on the other side of the underpass afterward for a nice dose of nature after being around so much man-made stuff. Highly recommend doing this while in Den Haag!
Far too expensive a park to go out for a day. Nice sights to see. It is better to find tickets online or win for a day out.
A very cute place with amazingly detailed replicas of Netherlands famous landmarks. The interactive exhibitions are mostly designed for kids but we still found them fun and funny to do
A good experience of watching the city of Amsterdam in a miniature format.
Very interesting to look at Holland in miniature, think good you can do something yourself, it also has a button for money. Very well.
Educational and diverse, not suitable for a whole day ....
Nice, especially for children, definitely worth a visit!
Nice to walk through with the children. But we were ready in 2 hours. In proportion the entrance price too expensive to what you get for it. Clean park. Prices in restaurants are normal.
For something a little different check this place out. Really well done and the attention to detail is really impressive.
Great experience. Good place to get look and feel of beautiful Hague city. Amazing miniature(1:25).
Madurodam is really fun for children. And you can also let children from 4 to 5 years walk around. You can't give them that freedom in amusement parks, for example.
Beautiful place to spend a good afternoon RM family
This place is the money-making factory .. two adults and a child 50. Interactive nonsense. You walk through a lot of noisy people to see the layouts of some buildings and some toys!
A very educational and interesting place for historical buildings and other objects in the Netherlands. You really should have seen it once
I found Madurodam to be very poor. Far below my expectation. Much overdue maintenance. Buildings that browse. Some are there as a ruin. Considering the entrance price it could have been in better condition.
Nice to have seen once, but personally I think there should be more action on Madurodam. Too expensive for what is offered. New Amsterdam, and Orange are a start. Skinny enough, sorry ...
Nice to walk around for a few hours and see the Netherlands in miniature. The attractions on the outside such as Nieuw Amsterdam were a bit disappointing. We expected more. The catering is good, but quite pricey. In short, a must, but take your wallet with you.
Interactive attractions, educational and wonderful to see again.
Cool place. Especially for children. Don't forget to take your hats in sunny days.
I always wanted to go to Madurodam, unfortunately I was quite disappointed by the overdue maintenance.
The best place to see a part of the Netherlands, a beauty of models and a small city, a great experience took me back to Mexico
It is impressive what the parents have built for their son who died in a concentration camp. Netherlands as a peace monument. A must see for young children !!!
Amazing!!! If you want to explore building in The Netherlands and you have only a day, it's the best place to visit. The miniatures of the buildings are well-made. You could see various fancy and famous buildings from all cities accross the country.
Easily accessible for someone in a wheelchair by public transport.
Unfortunately, I did not enjoy my short visit here very much.
Perhaps beyond the control of Madurodam we had a lot of rain that day and we had to constantly hide and run to the umbrellas.
There were also a lot of wasps. The wasp traps that were placed could not stop us from being bothered all the time by the curious wasps that get on your head or face.
Even in the restaurant we were bothered by the wasps who quietly sit on your food and even have a bite to eat.
Speaking of the restaurant. I thought it was incredibly expensive for the bread rolls you got. According to them, a healthy sandwich is a brown bread with only lettuce and cheese ... nothing else on it, no butter, nothing.
No, unfortunately my visit was not as I hoped.
There is nothing to do in the rain during the week.
Very beautiful & interesting place to visit, especially with children! Also adults can find many impressive, nice & fun places to see!
There are many activities for everyone!
Have a good visit!)
Great with children. Educational, interactive and very pleasant.
Had a great day. They work with a reservation during the corona times. This makes a visit a lot quieter than normal.
Only the heart route was not clear everywhere. As well as people who did and did not follow them.
A very nice - partially interactive - attraction. The Madurodam is definitely worth a visit.
Nice park with plenty to do for everyone, even older children can have fun here, but you should look when you go because the paths are narrow so when it is busy this can be very hectic
They have taken the term Tiny House a little too literally!
Amazing tiny city!! It's a great way to learn about all the different aspects of The Netherlands.
This place is worth seeing, it's great fun for children. I was delighted with what I saw there. It is really worth seeing.
On a spring day with blooming flowers it certainly looks cozy. Small park, history of the Netherlands. Are renovating
I keep finding that the entrance price is too high for the size of the park. I found Hof van Holland very beautiful, after seeing it once. I found the new Amsterdam part a lot of blah blah. And then cannons for a quarter of the people inside ... that is going to be sorrow
Interesting place, it s a pity that part of activities was not working
After forty years Madurodam was a fantastic experience again. Even, perhaps right now in the winter. In the dark with all lights on. I usually do not think that in the summer. And in Amsterdam you can still see a lot of cyclists and bicycles?
Also strange that the cars than without light driving by the way.
These are points for improvement.
The performances about new Amsterdam, Dordrecht and the Haarlemmermeer are also fun and educational.
Nice to know a lot about the Netherlands in a short time.
It was fun in Madurodam today. A lot seen and done today. Sometimes it rained but that did not spoil the fun. Max and Anne. An the junior song festival in person. A gift! Long live exchanging a lot of airmiles.
Recalling childhood memories, but also my daughter loved it
It is highly recommended to visit an interesting name for adults and children
There was a building in the middle of the park
Unfortunately
Despite the warmth we entertained us for 3 hours with 3 sons around 30. #nostalgia
