Maca Villas and Spa Resort - Bali, Indonesia Review

Sadly I can't rate this place any higher than a 3. We stayed in a 2 bedroom villa for 4 nights and while the staff were amazing the place is just a little run down and need of some TLC. We had issues with the Aircon in one room, so loud you couldn't put it on in the night, one of the toilets blocking almost every time it was used, and the roof of the poolside day bed fell through in the rain - luckily no one was underneath it at the time. The staff as mentioned were great and rectified all the above as soon as we raised it, and provided us a free airport transfer and late checkout as compensation but it just took the shine off for us. Without these issues this place would be great! Breakfast in the villa was great and although I didn't try it, the restaurant looked great. Location was good, on a road and near to shops and restaurants. It's a 15 min walk to the beach, mainly with paths along the road so safe enough. With a few repairs and a new coat of paint would love to go back.

We stayed 3 nights mid november at maca and it was great ! The staffs were all aware of the rules and protocols to keep us all safe, wearing gloves,askijg us to wash our hands before entering and keeping distance. Got a complimentary mask, gloves and disinfectant wipes at the villa.

They guaranted it was clean. We tried to smell the bed and towels, smells nice and looked had just been cleaned. Great job!

Ac both worked great, we even got the chill with just one fan turned on.

Breakfast was great, try the nasi goreng and egg benedict.or you can try this one at my photo,rather odd choice,but tasted good. Also, we took several menu for our dinner,the price is really not that expensive but tasted good.

One more thing, they were on time with the breakfast at the villa each day.

We love it,and will be back again.

This place is absolutely great. Villa with your own pool. Super friendly staffs. Restaurant serves excellent food and no shortage of choices on wine. Friday night has live music, great singer and not the loud music. Only 25 villa in this hotel. Very well kept and clean. Highly recommended!!!

One of the best Villas to stay at.We were at Villa 12.Hospitality was at it's top.Staff were friendly and welcoming.A1 service. Good dining area.Varity of breakfast option and very well presented.Vegan options available as well. Amazing Spa and outdoor swimming pool.

Good drop and pick facility in and around the Villa area,Market.

One downside which is not really such a downside is cleanliness of the indoor pool area. This can be managed more better I believe.

Service was excellent.They provided us complimentary extra bed since we bring 2 child. At the end, they also gave complimentary spa treatment for recovery due to plumbing issue. Location is very comfortable, surrounding with many happening cafes,spas,etc. Cons,too many mosquitos in the villa even we close the doors all the time.

Outstanding villas with great private pool and really tasty breakfast. The staff is also very helpful in every matter.

The villas themselves are in a small beautiful garden and you really feel surrounded by nature.
We stayed here 4 nights which felt too short.

Best location in petitenget. Great services and love the privacy of the villa. Wifi running well. Small tv in front of my bathtub

One of the best experiences of a hotel we ve ever had. Service was impeccable, the rooms were perfect. All the little touches of amenities, turn down service, afternoon tea, massages were incredible. Staff knew who we were, they went out of there way with everything. We have a young baby who they were so accommodating for. Would love to return again. Can t speak highly enough.

We book maca villa for honeymoon and it comes out to be one of the best villa for our trip.
Service is good, lots of options for breakfast.
Got cake for celebration . Sunroof bathroom just love it.

Should definitely try when you go to Bali!

So private and big enough for two people.

Perfect except for the very cold water in the pool. Lol We were literally freezing However, everything is so good. The only thing we didn t like about the room was that there were some insects bc of the trees around the pool. Anyways, we will go back there someday!
