Wednesday night at 7pm and a fair share of inebriated bar guests. Funnily enough they were all wearing backpacks .
Fair prices for the area. Great burger and fries. Decent service from Sofia. I heard some Irish accented patrons so that s also a good sign in my book

The clam chowder and fish and chips here were very good. The chowder was delightfully creamy and had a strong, but not overpowering flavor. The fish was tender and very fresh. Nice selection of draft beers and ciders as well. Not too crowded, and while it took a while to get noticed by the staff, once sat the service was very good.

What can I say good about this place... great location and outside dining. Other than that - bland food and not the best cocktails. She ordered roasted chicken - very bland and the mashed potatoes and veggies cold. I had the steak tips - medium rare, came in well done... again everything cold - even the meat. Brough a new one, cooked better and hot, but not tender meat and veggies didn't have salt? Service was slow to finish off, although I commend them on comping the drinks at least.

We visited this establishment not once, not twice but three times and actually would have been four, if they were open for lunch at 11AM, so we could have had something to eat before boarding our plane back home. The first time was for lunch - had their lunch special, a tuna melt and fries and a chicken BLAT w/fries. The second time was by default. We were going to have haddock fish and chips at another pub, but unfortunately what they advertised wasn't what they were serving. We remembered that M.J. O'Connor's showed haddock fish and chips on their menu, so we headed back. Our dinner was served piping hot! And delicious! The third time was for a late night drink with a local friend. This restaurant was right around the corner from our hotel; making it an easy walk. Outdoor seating. Clean restrooms. Serving Sam Adams. Serving Diet Coke! Great service. It was a win-win all the way around!

This place is the one I like best. I visit plenty of restaurants but to this place I constantly return again and again. The stuff is very affectionate and the cooking they cook is so appetizing. I never decline to have a nice dinner here. I recommend this place with pleasure.

It was my first time visiting this Pub and I ll make it my tradition to stop by every time I make it to Boston, specifically for the steak tip ranch salad. The steak tips were cooked to perfection, to my taste, and the side salad was simple, yet it complemented the meat. We also tried the tater tots dish and it was delicious!
The staff was super accommodating of our large group and everyone had a great time. A great and friendly place to hang out with friends!

I've been here a dozen times before but finally decided to rate this place. The atmosphere is perfect for an Irish pub and exactly what you'd expect in Boston. Everything I've had on the menu has been very delicious and an appropriate portion. The Irish burger is outstanding, but the shrimp curry I had last night was out of this world. The service was quick and courteous.
