I used to work there and I have learned many things in there and such nice places and good stuff %100

My sister was placed here in her final days of fighting cancer. The nurses were horrible and would withhold medicine from her. She had developed fistulas on her back and would ooze out her back. They should have been kept covered but it was "too much work" for the staff so they would take off the covering and let the fistulas drain down her back. This caused horrible rashes and was horribly uncomfortable for my sister.
When I moved her back to the hospital I called to let them know that I would be back to clean out her room that night as the doctors said she couldn't return there. They informed me that they had already boxed up her stuff and it was in the hallway.
When I went to pick up her stuff, there was other patients personal information in the box as well.

Oh my gosh how this place has changed since I was a kid. Esthetically it was a gorgeous piece of property that has certain charms and i doubt shed turn down an offer of turn down service. Usually its just hey, turn that down were trying to catch up, they've been a socializing since like 10 this morning.

The best nursing home ever! The nurse Barb is the best! I wish more places had nurses like her. She is so caring and compassionate. If a loved has to evwr be in the nursing home, this is the place to go.

The care facility is great.My mother chose Lyngblomsten because the took good care of her older sibling. I found the staff very kind and caring. Weekly updates are provided from her doctor and the staff. I am very happy with my mothers choice.

First off, I want to disclose that I'm an employee. Even so, I'd like to say that this review contains honest opinions.

I've only ever heard good things about the care center from residents and their families, and I have always seen the nursing staff go the extra mile for the residents. From a business standpoint, I know that the non-direct-care staff does their best to ensure that all the right resources are offered so that the financial and legal matters are taken care of so that families and residents can just focus on recovering and their health.

During a time when there are even more horror stories than usual about nursing homes, I am grateful for Lyngblomsten. Words could never express just how wonderful this facility truly is. My mom had lived here for nearly three years before she passed away from Covid 19 on 5/26. My mom had Alzheimer s Dementia and a whole host of other health conditions and because I live far away, I always had to save my trips to see her for when she was hospitalized. However, because of Lyngblomsten s excellent staff, there was actually one year that I visited my mom just because it had been awhile since I had seen her. The facility is clean, safe and I love the different themes on each floor. Lyngblomsten is currently undergoing renovations so it will look even better than it did. I also love the nice little touches like the finches on the first floor and the gift shop, both of which my mom frequented. In addition to my mom s dementia, she also spoke very little English so this added another layer of complexity for the staff. I had to bridge this gap so the staff and I were in touch on a daily basis. Everybody was so patient and understanding. My mom truly felt at home and safe here. She loved everybody here. When the pandemic started, Lyngblomsten sent frequent email updates and held weekly conferences for families in order to provide full transparency. Brenda Johnson and her team lead this tremendous effort and I could never thank them enough. It touched me to know that they really cared about the residents. Brenda went above and beyond to be supportive of me and my family when my mom returned to Lyngblomsten for hospice. It s no surprise to me that my mom waited until she returned here to pass away because it had become her home. This review doesn t even begin to suffice but THANK YOU to Brenda, John Maidl, Jay Haukom, Mary Vang, Jane Hubbard, Sophie, Ashley, Abraham, Claire in the Boss Neighborhood, the amazing ladies at reception, the office staff and everyone else at Lyngblomsten for making such a huge difference in my mom s life. I am eternally grateful to everyone and you all have a special place in my heart forever. Thank you all for being such amazing human beings!
