Lutheran Care Center has been a part of my life, along with my Grandmas- for over 30 years. We BOTH worked as Cert. Nurses. Assist. & Still today this is a place continuing as part of our lives. Now our roles are Resident & Visitor.
Friendly, home town staff. All faiths welcome. Good care. One of my favorite places in Altamont.
Mom loved the people here. Thanks for all you did for her this last year and a half. It means everything to us!
Nice staff, large one or two room suites in assisted living. Built in daycare center for kids, nursing home attached, newer dining room, activity area with piano, residents allowed dogs, free rental of beautiful family center next door with full kitchen. Large open grassy area with shaded rocking chairs outside.
They take very good care of my father and make sure he has everything he needs and most of what he wants... Despite him being a Royal pain in the rump at times :) Thank you everyone
This is a caring facility that does a wonderful job of trying to provide quality care for each individual resident. The building is kept clean and reasonably free of odors. There is a courtyard with a garden. There are options for independent senior living, assisted living, and skilled nursing care.

My mother was recently taken care of at Lutheran Care Center under hospice. The staff at Lutheran Care was very compassionate towards my mother and they all seemed good at each job and task they were assigned to. Emily, the new administrative director, went above and beyond her duties even holding my mom s hand till I arrived . She is a very caring person as well as other sweet staff members . I would not hesitate letting my loved one reside there.
