I dunno if it's covid times, but one is the most disappointing dim sum experiences I have had. The prices were high, and while not bad food, the quality of Ha Gao to be desired, both Char Siu Bao and Dan Tat were overly sweet. The Dan Tat were in the direction of scrambled egg and not custard. The staff was nice, but seemed understaffed. Definitely not gonna come back.

Yikes! I rarely ever give less than a 3 and I'm sorry to say, this dim sum was a HUGE disappointment. Not sure if it's cause of COVID or if it's always been like this but dim sum itself was sub-par (especially coming from a super well reviewed dim sum restaurant!). Hubs and I came super early on a Saturday, right when it opened so lotsa tables (they are super understaffed tho cause took them 5+ mins to seat us). They seem to worry more about the take out/delivery than regular patrons.

Place is very well partitioned with shields and tables more than 6 feet away which is great - you order food through qr code so no interaction needed at all (which also meant they gave us the tea but forgot the cups and all).

Food was a HUGE disappointment! One of the worst dim sum experience's I have had in CA! I will give them a plus for siu mai which was big and juicy and quite delicious, pork ribs (pai gwut) was yummy. Ha gow was less than desirable - I give them a plus for a great skin but the filling? Tasteless and bland (I don't eat my dim sum with soy sauce). Chicken feet were not as tasty as I would like it. Dan tat (egg custard) was meh, overly sweet and more of a scrambled egg than a real Dan tat. Cha siu bao (pork bun) was another disappointment, too sweet, not enough fillings and....just not worth the price we paid for!

Sigh, sorry, not coming back again..

two days ago was our first time we visited this fine restaurant. But It is absolutely not the last. We had great time with the good service, with the high quality cuisine and wine and with the friendly pay. We will absolutely go back there in a short time.

We came across this place and it was worth the wait. The provide a checklist so there are no carts but once in awhile staff will come with a tray. I enjoyed the chow fun and the chicken legs. The egg buns were a delight and loved the gooey texture and it was piping hot so it was like eating melted butter with salted egg.

The service was quick and I enjoyed all the dishes. Prices are on the higher side but it s a pleasant place for family and it does draw a crowd on the weekends

Definitely try the rice noodle with crispy shrimp! Yummmm! I would definitely go back to Lunasia. Try other things as well. They were out of a few things when we went, even chrysanthemum tea. Their shumai or Siu Mai were delicious and huge. Parking is super easy, there s a little garage right behind the restaurant. And it s free! Service was typical of a Chinese restaurant. And I highly recommend getting added to the waitlist through Yelp before you go. We called and asked about reservations or waitlists and the person who picked up didn t even tell us to go on Yelp, they just said walk-in only.
