I think this is a great place to have breakfast and/or lunch. It is like a throwback to the old diners from the past. Great friendly service, clean, comfortable and good food. Right off of South La Grange road, close to the office buildings and other local businesses. Not low traffic, but not as heavy as it would be heading north of there. Nice quiet, quaint little town.
Picky people probably prefer pretty perfect popular pancake place.
They have roaches . While I was eating my meal (breakfast) I look over to my right because I was sitting by the kitchen counter there was a baby roach crawling next to me. Meaning they just had babies so there's more I feel that's disgusting I didn't say anything because I was so out done I just asked for the bill and left but I will never eating there at that lumes in fraknfort again. I only went there because it was convenient because I was going to emagine theater I'll continue to take my business where I've been going to the one on 116th n Western. .
I love this place though it was my first time back in 5 years. Still as good as always.

I usually enjoy the breakfast at Lumes but today was an exception. The pancakes were awful and no one appeared to know what was different. The pancakes fell apart and were very dense. Go back to the old recipe!

Great breakfast place! Many different options. Tried the 40 minute apple pancake. Yummm! So worth the wait! Also, the coffee cups are bigger than other places...And the coffee is good too.
