Highly-priced entrees with a bourgeoisie flair, prices slightly high, portions slightly small

Favorite place for skillets ever. Great service. We frequent lumes and have never been dissatisfied.

The staff is rude! I went in to order to go the waitress took my boyfriend's order and acted like she didn't see me. While we were waiting for our food they gave him a cup of coffee in a dirty mug with lipstick still stained on it. After our food was done and it was time to pay she gave us my boyfriend's food and didn't include mine. We made it all the way back home before we realized my food was missing. When I called the restaurant about my food they said it was my fault because I left the food....

We ve probably eaten here 20 times at the time of this review. This restaurant is everything you could hope for in a breakfast/lunch diner. I love that they are open at 6am so I can grab breakfast before work. Don t let the long line scare you away, this place has the fastest cooks in the business. The wait is short and you have your food faster than a jimmy johns commercial.

The food was fresh and so good. The fresh squeezed orange was good too. The service is excellent.

Our 11 person party was seated pretty fast during Sunday Brunch. It was very impressive.. But while the service was good, I ordered the Apple Pancake, which I've had prior at many different Pancake Houses. The pancake was burnt and crispy on the outside while the apples were not at all soft on the inside. It wasn't a bouncy texture like I would expect to get, but was more runny than thick and soft. My boyfriend ordered an omelette and it was delicious, but they burnt most of his hashbrowns. I would probably come back if there wasn't another place open-- but I would stick to normal omelettes and pancakes.. I really wasn't a huge fan.

Otherwise, pretty clean and the staff were really accommodating.

The portions are really good and so is the food. So many choices there is something for everyone

Not very pleased with what I ordered. My corned beef was about the amount of 2 tablespoons and way overdone I my poached eggs we're almost hard boiled I didn't get my rye toast halfway through my meal and that was barely toasted. No comparison to the one in Orland park

Ok food, nothing to be excited about. Waitress was decent, older gentleman checking out wasn't friendly. U could clearly tell he didn't want to be at work. Pancakes were cold

The server was nice and good service. Food was brought out in a timely manner and the server checked on our table a good number of times to make sure we were doing fine. The food was tasty. My friend and I split the Spartan omelette (a little heavy on the cheese but overall good) and the apple oven baked pancake (more than enough food for two people). Overall, good place for a decent breakfast
I did bring in a service dog that I am training and the whole time I was there I felt like I was getting dirty looks from a lot of the staff. The dog was just laying under the table very well behaved the whole time and nobody ever said anything to me but it seemed like they maybe didn't understand why I brought a dog in. It wasn't enough to discourage me from coming back, was just kinda weird haha

Can get crazy here. But, they don't seem to understaff to save a buck. This is great because people are able to get in and eat and leave when ready. The food has always been good. Never had a bad dish. Enjoy!

Super fast and large portions. Lunch is good too, don't overlook it.

This was our first time eating at Lumes. We were impressed with the service and our food was delicious. Best biscuits and gravy I've ever had. This definitely won't be our last visit

I have had food off of the breakfast menu as well as lunch menu. The omelets are awesome and they have a jalapeno that will knock your socks off. Definitely a must go to place. Great food great service.

This was the most unseaseoned food I think I have had. The service was nice but the food was terrible. So sorry I hate giving bad reviews but I would not recommend this place for good breakfast food. I had the cornbeef hash over easy eggs and grits.

The symphony crepes are where it's at. Fast, friendly service and great food.

I ordered a Angus steak for breakfast which was dry, not seasoned and burned. I also requested that my hashbrowns and packages be cooked brown and my hashbrowns were burned and my packages were dry. This location is nothing like the one on 115th Western in Blue Island This is my first and last visit, I wasted my money.

Food was delicious and service was impeccable. Our omelets were unbelievably bountiful. Had breakfast leftovers for two days.

Lumes was recommended by Terry's Rv where they were working on some repairs for me. I wiled away some of the waiting time having a delicious breakfast. I always can tell how good a breakfast place will be by the quality of the jam they serve. Lumes serves Dickinson, one of the best. I highly recommend the food and the atmosphere. You won't be disappointed.

The food was outstanding, and even for a busy Sunday morning on a holiday weekend, the service was excellent and attentive. Highly reccomend Lumes to all Frankfort area residents.

I visited this restaurant for the first time today and was quite impressed. The interior is beautiful and good seating for 1 diner to a larger group. I ordered cream cheese filled French toast, all I can say is "You have to try it!" My mom had a sandwich, which came in an abundant amount as seen in my photos. The staff are very friendly, everything is clean, bathroom is nice and modern. Keep it up and thank you!

Always a treat to have breakfast here when we're on town. I haven't tried it but the stuffed French toast looks amazing.

Decent prices and great tasting food. Definitely try the crepes with blueberries inside. They give you absolutely inhumane portions that can feed you for three days.

The food always comes out fast and the same every time. Endless cups of coffee! My son is crepe lover and they do not disappoint!
