This is the absolute worst company to buy from online. I placed an order and cancelled it within 2 minutes. I was told the order hadn't been entered in the system yet I had to call back in an hour to cancel the hour. I called back exactly 60 minutes later and was told by someone there they had cancelled my order. Two days later I get an email notification from UPS that my order is arriving today. The order I called twice to cancel had shipped and was arriving at my house. I called Lumens the 3rd time saying I had literally cancelled the order twice. The sales person was ignorant and rude to me on the phone and I asked twice to speak to a supervisor who never came to the phone to talk to me. Left me on hold for 20 minutes. I would never buy anything from this company online or in person. Worse customer service I have ever experienced. Now telling me I have to pay the postage to send the items back!

Horrifying. I ordered some lights and still dealing with the issue 8 months later. The customer service initially was great as they tried to resolve the issue, but then became a joke with promises to ship, lost orders, no return calls or followup, and general ineptness of even managers to get clear answers. Oh, but I got a $20 for the headache. Total joke and insulting.

Order a lamp as a Christmas gift, it was supposed to arrive within 3 to 5 business days. Few days later I received an e-mail stating that it would ship at the end of January! what???? i bought it as a Christmas gift. After that I send several emails to customer service and never received an answer. I contacted them over the phone, nobody was willing to help. This is unbelievable and the worst customer service I have ever received.

Do not buy from them. Poorest customer service ever. I ordered 2 lights on Ebay. They sent 1. I asked for the second and they said they don't have it and yet there is still 1 for sale on Ebay. I have yet to get a refund. I just want my second light but it's looking like they won't honor. Someone needs to get fired or trained on how to run a successful store - ignoring customers isn't a way to grow and stay in business.

Horrible experience. Purchase 3x 500$ USD wall sconce lamps. Had them shipped to Canada. Arrived and were not as advertised on the website. Kindly wrote asking to exchange for another colour. Got refused because I was in Canada. Will never purchase at Lumens again. Will definitively be careful of buying from such company ever again. Read the fine prints. This company doesn't actually care about your satisfaction.

If you are looking for lighting features for your home (and you have a lot of money), then this is the store for you. This store is like an art display--it's beautiful. There's also a small home good section of well designed conversation pieces.

Endless hold. Incorrect information. No return calls. Promises of follow up. Conflicting information. A huge waste of time and the company is losing countless dollars of man hours with calls that get unresolved. I am sorry that I ordered from this company. There is of course understanding about the complexities of working under these conditions with Covid, but the fact that all the information is wrong is a training issue that only frustrates everyone endlessly

Worst customer service I have ever come across. Two fixtures blew up in my house and when an electrician verified that the problem was a mislabeled European fixture Lumens was impossible to deal with. Both incidents happened near my toddlers and they had no regard for our safety. I have never written a negative comment on any online forum and hate to do it, but really think Lumens needs to improve there service.

Nice lighting but very expensive. Regrettably the customer svc was non existent when I came in on a Saturday afternoon. Came in, walked around for ten minutes and wasn't greeted or asked if i needed assistance by EITHER of the clerks, who were not doing anything at the time. Left and purchased somewhere else.

Ordered many lights there but when I had an issue with shipping these people blew it. I paid for shipping and was charged an extra $300 by UPS. Amanda from Lumens told me not to pay as she'll settle this with UPS. Three months later UPS is going after me with collections and ruining my credit rating. Pure incompetence!!!

I ordered a $4600 sofa, the first one came in the wrong color. I wasn t upset, things happen. One month later the couch came in missing 2 large pieces and one of them still being incorrect. 2 months later I still do not have my sofa so I requested a refund. The refund took me calling them for a 2.5 week period and getting told oh, give it 24 hours until I finally demanded to speak with a supervisor. They don t have any product on hand and they are very disorganized. Stay away and let them fail because they had no interest in trying to compensate for me taking off of work twice for delivery of the wrong product.

The 1st mistake was by Ben vale in ordering the wrong light that I described perfectly. Even though the receipt of purchase showed a wrong picture Ben assured me it was the correct light. I received the light and of course it was like the picture and wrong. I would forgive a company for an honest mistake. But what happened next is inexcusable. Ben told me I would receive a return shipping label for the light in 1 day. After 2 days I call back and a new service agent says the return label was not even made. ie. 2nd mistake. Then I was told that the return label has to come from the factory and can take 3-5 business days. After waiting 5 days I still didn't have a label. Mistake 3. The new agent was very rude. He said that it was already emailed to me which was a lie. It hadn't. Then he left me waiting for the longest time (more than 15 minutes) and then returns and immediately sends me a return label through email. The question I have is why couldn't they send me the return label immediately the first time I called. Another issue I had with them is that they required me to pay for a new light a 2nd time before I received the correct one and then I had to wait 7 more business days before I received a refund. This is the worst return process I have seen. It is also the worst customer service dept I have ever worked with. YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED!!!!! DON"T BUY FROM THEM!!!!!

Worst customer service I've experienced. We bought two expensive fans. The wrong ones arrived (different colour from what I ordered). Lumens refused to return them as they were final sale. Final sale is fine if you actually get what you ordered. We decided to install them since we had paid a lot of money for them. That's when we discovered one of them was missing three critical parts. Because we didn't notify them of missing parts within 72 hours they said they will send us the parts for a small fee of $230. Shocking! Will never purchase anything from them again. Wish I could give them zero stars!

If I could give a zero I would - it s been a nightmare dealing with their customer! I did not purchase from them but had my account information hacked - has been about a 2 month struggle trying to get money refunded. I have no knowledge of their products but their service department needs training.

Pretty store, with lots of interesting items to look at and discover. The staff seems knowledgeable and friendly. Plus it looks great at night, with all the lights in the window, it is definitely a good anchor for the heart of midtown.

I was looking on Lumens site for a light pendant since the one that I bought from Menards was too small. What I found is the same pendant I bought from Menards with $30 on Lumens is $217... open box. The actual price is actually$290. Amazing!!!

I ordered a Hope Suspension fixture by Luceplan on behalf of a customer in July 2016. The clear plastic panels on it are cracking and falling off. This was a $3000 light fixture including shipping and specific lightbulb. When I called Lumens they offered to sell the customer more panels. I realize that Lumens is not the manufacturer, but I would have expected more support for such an expensive fixture which is less than 2 years old

worst experience ever, I ordered a desk and waited for weeks. I contacted customer service and they said "sorry" they couldn't give me a date when product would be shipped. Finally I canceled the item and ordered from another company. Later that night they contacted me saying item has been shipped. When I contacted customer service they again said sorry, item is non returnable. They would take it back but charge a 25% restocking fee. Well the item cost over a thousand dollars, so basically 250 to return. This company is the worst, I will never do business with them again and I would recommend everybody do the same.

Ordered a fan on the website that said they had three in stock, a week went by and no fan, no credit card charge so I chatted with Vincent online who said he would get back to me. Never did, chatted with Joe this am and he told me it was out of stock. Poor customer service! The worst part is they really didn t care. Thankfully there are other places to purchase and I assume that is what they were telling me.
