Lucy corr village Review

I am proud to say that I have been a Lucy Corr employee for almost 4 years. It is a joy to work with a team that consistently demonstrates compassionate care for our residents. Truly, it's a privilege to serve our older adults and to support their caregivers. I recommend our services to family and friends with confidence. Mighty Lucy Corr!

Clean and professionally run. My dying father was treated with respect and compassion. I cannot thank the staff enough for their genuine concern for his well being. This is as good as it gets for this type of service.

The Lucy Corr campus is beautiful, and the team provides excellent care to its residents. They are professional, attentive, and accommodating - knowing residents by their first name and understanding their individual needs. Highly recommend!

My step father spent time here before he passed. It was much nicer that other surrounding facilites. Only complaint was the food.

Here's your warning. Do not apply to this facility, communication is nonexistant, management is unprofessional. The DON Katrina Harris is rude, spiteful, inexperienced and has a speech impediment that I could hardly comprehend it was so disruptive. Don't waste your time. Oh yea the pay rate is also undesirable. Poor compensation

I called and spoke to Tina. She was very rude and disrespectful. I made a simple statement about my loved one and she brushed me off. I asked for her first and name so I could speak with her supervisor in the morning, she said I'am the supervisor, I replied that may be but I'm sure you have a supervisor and she refused to give a name. This was my first experience with this facility and it wasn't pleasant at all.

I have been greatly saddened of what my sister has been going through. I am filled with concern.
I went to Lucy Corr hoping for a home for my sister. I went the whole nine yards of giving everything needed to place her in this facility.
I went there to speak with the director. She had all the necessary papers. She was busy and told me to call her the next morning.
I did to no avail. There were several calls that were not returned ... several. My heart hurts because of this. I can't imagine any family trying to put their love one in a place so uncaring.

I understand why people are giving bad reviews. I became concerned about staff efforts to keep the place in shape,when my great grandmother was there, we constantly saw bugs around the building. On one occasion I saw a huge beetle so close to the dining room. I was astonished that the staff was not caring for this problem. The germs bugs such as ticks carry can harm residents.Another thing I did not like about the staff was how they treated the residents. Yes, they were always very kind and positive when we were there but what about behind the scenes ? I hope it was same treatment around the clock. Because of this I do not recommend Lucy Corr. And I know she would be highly disappointed in what the facility she was named after had become.
