Lucky Oyster Seafood Grill Review

Went in on a Sunday evening, not busy but service slow and not engaging. Stuffed Flounder was yummy..fish was moist and flakey..just needed some salt to make the flavors pop! Definitely order the mashed potatoes!

My favorite restaurant! Foods great! Staff is friendly. Always a great time.

Great menu. We showed up for New Year's Eve and the place was PACKED but the service was still amazing and the food was even better!

The food was good, service was good and price was good. I would recommend to anyone traveling in the area for a good bite. It was just missing that something for the fifth star. Can t put my finger on it, but it was definite good eats.

Good food. Nice decor. Busy place with lots of screens to watch sports.

Flounder is dry and no taste. Food portion is small for price paid. Shrimp is not jumbo as they describe in menu. Only good is crab cake. Not going back.

Fun, casual, good food and service. A new favorite. If you only have a couple people in your group, there is a patio (tables too small for more people).

My fish and fry lunch was so good. The fish was fryed perfectly and had a crunch to it. The surroundings were clean and staff was friendly and attentive. Price was a little high for lunch, but was worth the added expense, I definitely will return.

My new favorite place to eat in Virginia Beach. 5 stars all the way around.

Very nice restaurant first time being here had a very good experience. Service is very good lots of neat stuff hanging on the walls inside the restaurant. Service was terrible. The server Dina didn't acknowledge me the main person at the table, ignored me completely, the one paying the 200.00 bill, lava cake over cooked. Everyone else enjoyed there dinner. I have been coming to lucky oyster for many years and this is by far the worst experience I have ever had.

I would like to thank our waiter for finding my husband s Wally X sunglasses and returning them. Oyster Rockefeller was great and the sweet onion hush puppies. He was a guy and would like him to be acknowledged for great Customer service z

First time here and we loved it. Our server, Jacqueline, was very genuine and kind. Very knowledgeable about the menu. And so friendly. We loved her !!! Food was great Seafood salad was amazing and the key lime pie was the best !!!!

I have been here twice and both times were perfect when it came to quality of food, staff and upkeep of the restaurant itself. The staff is always knowledgeable of what is going on with the menu and happy to answer any questions. The specials here are always great as well. I highly suggest the tuna melt for lunch!

I was up here for work, a group of us went here and absolutely loved it!! Food was phenomenal! Look forward to getting back to this restaurant asap!

Outstanding food and service!! Didn't go there for the wings, but they were amazing! Try the honey habanero sauce! Scallops and Rockfish over risotto was delicious. Happy.

Fish sandwich was my choise one of the best yet overwhelming amount of fish you won't be disappointed. Think it was fish LT crispy with flakely white meat properly cooked fish inside the crust.

Calamari was bland, oyster soup had no substance to it, and crabcake sandwich was a thin patty made up primarily of just filler. This was my first and last time there. #oneanddone

Good food and good times. Gets a little impersonal during tourist season, comes with being a local.

Their Happy Hour $ .70 wings,oysters and calms is AWESOME. Good selection of beers and spirits has something for everyone. The host and waitresses were Great!!

P.S. The Crab cake was crabby and not a bunch of filler.

Great food, very cool atmosphere, skilled and friendly staff and accommodated a party of 25 last minute on a super busy Saturday night. We all loved it! We'll be back.

I took my girlfriend out to dinner for our first time in this restaurant. The food is outstanding! It was fresh, tasty and reasonably priced. Our server was finishing her last night of training and she did an excellent job of taking care of us. Next to catching your own fish and cooking it up, I highly recommend The Lucky Oyster!

Had a great Birthday Lunch with my wife and in-laws, server was great! Food tastes great, loved the pretzel bread that came with the crab dip.

Always great seafood and Great brunch location! Make your own Bloody Marys! They have everything imaginable to add to them. Ordered the Classic Benedict which was great as well. Our friends ordered the Crab cake Benedict and the Seafood omelette. Everything was delicious and waitress was very pleasant and good. Great place to go with family or friends.

The food was amazing. I bought 2 t-shirts, which of course at the tourist price, which was a nice souvenir. The service wasn't that great, but it could be because they put tables outside due to COVID-19
