Love this hospital!!!! They have and continue to take excellent care of my 82 year old mom. Charge Nurse David on 3 is so caring and informative without rushing you (special thank you to him) Dr. Tello, Stuart, Hirsch thank all of you so much! From the staff up front, to all the nurses, elderly case worker and security Thank you all for doing an amazing job!!!!
Getting to hospital emergency room was great service. When we wotk.were being discharge everything went bad. We wait 4 hours to hear about if he could get oxygen to come it never happen. I had to go to work . This not right. I also miss some work.
Absolutely can't say enough good stuff about this hospital the staff is fantastic Dr Borno is amazing he saved my life twice now the hospital's clean and i mean really clean the staff is friendly they're always happy you know you push the button they answer right away they're amazing even the food is good other hospitals especially over here in New Mexico could learn a lot from the Lubbock heart and surgical hospital
Brought my mom to the er, while in the waiting room waiting for them to get her settled in a room the medic working the night shift forgot to close the window at the front counter where you check in and the er doctor working shift and the nurse that was working literally were sitting there talking trash about what my mom had came in for and talking trash about where she was from as well. Next time you decide to talk trash about a patient you might want to make sure they don t have a family member in the waiting area and make sure you close the window of decide to talk trash so no one can hear you.
Well my wife had a pace maker the morning shift and afternoon shift of nurses are wonderful but that dinner shift is awful the nurse was rude combative with me I did forget to put on my mask when she came in my fault but she didn t have to be extremely rude with me to put it on I also over herd the other nurses talking badly about other patients that is uncalled for that s our loved ones they are gossiping about I would not recommend this place to anyone!!!!
The ER was spot on! They deserve more than 5 stars! The hospital was not great. The nurses had no communication with me. There's absolutely no sense of urgency. Our nurse had the bed side manner of the wall. Seems like I had to chase down people to help us.
If you're having heart issues, this is one of the best places to be!!

Based off of the recent reviews on undecided to use this hospital with heart surgery for my mother because I want the surgery to go great which it seems like everybody had great surgery here. But bedside manner is important and is a heavy concern after such an important person is going to have surgery I am heavily concerned with moving forward with this building and I have not even had a scheduled surgery yet for that individual.
We were there for 4 days. The first day we only saw the nurse when we requested his presence. This was the day of major surgery. The nurses aid was fantastic, but there is only so much she can do. 2 of the 3 night stay, the nurses call button mysteriously came up missing... found in the basket behind the patients head. We continued to have issues with the nursing staff being available. One of the nurses really seemed to enjoy waiving his clip board around, talking about how big of a rush he was in to get to his next patients... I guess we didn't matter to much. We tried several times to rectify the lack of care while we were there. We were ignored. If you need hospital care, and have a choice, chose a different hospital....
