Very old and cheap rooms. Bad smells (from the walls?) and the toilets clog all the time! The accommodation is not professionally cleaned during years. You will find yellow limestone deposits from the person who used the room prior to you...
Sporadically, they do call in cleaners throughout the year.
Other than that, the accommodation is very closely situated to the LSE buildings, with only a 5 min stroll by foot to reach them!

Lived here for 9 months, the location is unbeatable, just a stone throw away from Covent Garden, the British Museum and LSE. Although the facilities may be a little bit old, maintenance staff are always friendly and so helpful! Receptionists are also so kind and considerable, I love them! Occasionally there are pizza night or little treats. A little bit pricey, but totally worth it!

I can't recommend this studio at all. This is bad for health.

The laundry machines and dry machines are terribly bad. Dry machines don't work at all. So people staying at this accommodation cannot do wash and dry clothes. This is really bad for health.

In addition the air is smelly because of bad ventilation. Bathroom is so dirty.

Heart of london location so can access all west end venues. Good for transport links to other parts of london. Clean comfortable safe. Will use again. Good value for money. My room had a kitchenette. !! Travelled as a single woman felt very safe.

Good place to stay in london. It is a student residence that works as a hotel out of season. All very clean Very friendly staff They clean the rooms every 2 days (more than enough). It has a small kitchen perfect to prepare breakfast and own bathroom. Nearby there is a very good and cheap supermarket (Sainsbury's) and several quiet pubs for a pint. Very well located, it is next to Covent Garden and Picadilly. I recommend it.

One of the worst residences I have ever stayed at for my entited college career. Staff is rude, forces their way through in your room sometimes without notice, absolutely no respect for your privacy, they treat you as if you don't matter. I aaked several times for prior notice before entering my room, but ..... here they qre banging on my door wanting to get in. please have respect for your money and avoid this unprofessional place.......... this is a nightmare!

Purchased an advanced booking at a very good discount for a 6-night stay this August (2015). Clean room, kitchen, and bathroom. Strong wifi. Sheets and towels changed everyday (although if they didn't, they probably could reduce their costs and pass that saving to guests.. maybe). Friendly staff.

Good location, reasonably priced. Uncomplicated check in and out. Fully equipped rooms. The only drawback I experienced was the bad WiFi. It disconnected every other 15 to 20 minutes where sometimes one needed to completely remove and reopen the access point in order to get online again.

I searched for a central place, and I found it in this student residence. It belongs to the London school of economics, so when there are no students it can be booked for stays. 500 meters from covent garden, it has many nearby tube stations. Served as bars, bistros, even ethnic restaurants. The rooms are clean, quiet, with a kitchen and private bathroom.

It's little bit old but okay
And they only have one hair dryer, which people keep it and didn't return to the reception. Bring your own hair dryer would be better.

Friendly staff and good rooms. Stayed one night during summer vacation. The reception staff are friendly and helpful, the room was clean, the complimentary tea and coffee was a welcome touch and the small bars of soap and towels useful. I used a double studio room which wasn't quite as large as it looked from the website photo (wide angle lenses eh). The overall experience compared very favourably to a hotel and I would not hesitate to recommend it. The breakfast served just down the road at another LSE hall was great (cold continental style).
