Just landed after a 2 hour flight from New York. ...

Just landed after a 2 hour flight from New York. I would guess half the passengers were female. As my wife and others looked for a restroom, the one close to the gate was closed for cleaning. Everyone had to go to another rest room. To make matters worse I observed the cleaning lady, walk out of the rest room and slam the closed for cleaning sign down and give a nasty disgusted look. Seems to me with Louisville not being that busy at 4:50 pm on a Saturday evening the cleaning supervisor would check the flight schedule for arrivals and adjust the cleaning times. Passengers from New York just looked at each other in disbelief. Nice way to welcome gusts to our city.

I understand social distancing, but to NOT HAVE ANY store, restaurant, food vending available after 8p is unacceptable, It may have stopped earlier, but I didn't get to the airport until 745. What do they expect people to do. There was no warning, update, bird with a message.. NOTHING....
How can people plan accordingly?
Some passengers were expecting to eat while they waited... now we're just hungry. And, don't let the plane be delayed..

I don't think it was right for you to change the name of the Airport without asking the public how we felt about it. The taxpayer's help fund the Airport,so we should have had some input into renaming it. I guess I'll have to travel to another town to fly somewhere than to give it back to Louisville.

I'm sure we can complain about every airport we travel to. But in the end this airport served its purpose. My wife and i arrived on time with our luggage to our destination. And arrived SAFELY!!

Would it make sense to have hand sanitizer station...

Would it make sense to have hand sanitizer stations 1) After ticketing 2) After security screen 3) In bathrooms where it is hard to reach/use the soap dispensers for some people? The one hand sanitizer stand I found at B15 was empty.

A typical day at SDF today. So far here is what is need of repair:

1) Parking Entrance, ticket machine busted again

2) Escalator, parking level to baggage claim, out of order

3) Moving Walkway, screening to terminals, out of order

4) Automated Towel Dispensers, none operating throughout terminal A

5) Urinal overflowing continuously, Men s Room near gate A9, good times

Hey SDF Airport Authority, focus on the broken infrastructure and less on the community photo collage campaigns.

One positive: TSA Precheck is usually very fast.

The Louisville Airport Authority has not kept promises to help residents near the airport that it made in the Early 90's concerning Airport Noise. Homes that were once on quiet streets are now directly UNDER the incoming flights. Some pass less than 300 feet over homes. The UPS hub flys in planes all night. Sleep is almost impossible. (One reason Louisville was ranked as worst sleep city.) Jerry Abramson who shoved this in town airport down the throats of Louisville residents illegally, (YES, courts ruled after the airport was built that taking the land was illegal) and the Airport Authority have done nothing. Thunder week is the worst. Military aircraft going over the house shake the walls and scare the animals not to mention the people.
