Louise is wonderful! She has been doing my hair for about 7 years, and I travel from Maryland to see her. Everyone at the salon is so friendly-very posh without a bit of pretentiousness! The salon's location is super convenient- right across the street from Barney's. Great neighborhood, friendly staff and incredibly talented stylists. What more could you ask for?!

She is not just skilled with her hands and scissors but has an amazing eye and knows how to match hairstyle with facial features and lifestyle of her clients.
I had trouble finding someone who will respect and properly cut my naturally wavy ,long and slow growing hair for years .
I have been seeing Louise for 8 years and my hair always looks beautiful and healthy.
It looks elegant and classy when styled for work or special events but also looks great , casually air dried or at the beach.
Her trims are so precise and well done that after few months my hair still has nice and neat shape

After many years I changed my colorist. I am thrilled with Melissa. She is terrific! The color is natural but shiny and she works with you so that you get exactly what you wanted. She is friendly but professional. I love the salon which is bright and efficient. Momo cuts my hair beautifully and blows my hair out onderfully
Chantal is literally the best men's hairdresser in all of NYC.
Definitely recommend coming here. Asked for a completely new hair style (my hair is difficult mind you) and the people here made it happen, walked out feeling great.

Beautiful establishment with wonderful people working there. I get my hair styled by Chantal. She is, in my opinion, the finest men's hair stylist in Manhattan. 5 stars for the salon. 6 stars for Chantal. Highly recommended!
Doug is a master at hair coloring . I would follow him anywhere. Not only is he a great colorist, but also a great person. He is always willing to lend an ear, and accommodate my sometimes crazy schedule. He is spot on with his color . He has a great eye and is truly an artist.I can't say enough wonderful things about him.
Going to OC 61 means you are stepping in to a hip but grown-up salon. Louise O'Connor runs a salon that pampers you from the moment you walk in. I have very curly hair and Louise is the only stylist that I have visited that knows how to style it so it looks great and is easy to take care of. Doug does my color and is terrific. If I need a quick blow dry and Louise is booked Stephanie is the one to go to. I have been a customer for as long as the salon has been open which is about 10 years and have never had anything but a terrific experience.
Marie fit me in at the last minute as I was desperate to save my badly damaged hair. She worked with the challenge and it looks like an entirely new head of hair now - I feel like I had my pre-bleach damage hair back. She cut the ends, revamped the style and layers, did a deep conditioning treatment, all of which left me feeling beautiful and my hair healthy again. I will definitely be coming back to have Marie cut my hair again! Thanks Marie!

I LOVE this salon!! Doug colors my hair flawlessly and always wants to know how it's working out. Steph and Maria cut my hair and it's never not great. They all do a thorough consultation every time, are great listeners, know how to achieve the look I want in the way that will suit me best and whenever I leave I feel like my best me. The desk staff is very welcoming and efficient too! Dana's manis, pedis and brow tints are the best in NYC.
