We needed a new sofa for our Family Room. As an Architect and Interior Designer, I am picky about what furniture I buy. Yet, budget rules. I was pleased to find the extra long sofa by Century available in the custom look we wanted. Our salesperson Leslie, also an Interior Designer, responded to my online query via their website. They no longer have a store in Houston. Despite the pandemic and supply chain challenges- even a cyber attack!- they delivered our beautiful new sofa just 3 months after we ordered it. You can count on Louis Shanks for solid quality, professional salespeople, and good selection. Thank you. We are grateful for our new sofa.

One of the Austin's iconic furniture store that's been around. Good selection of design that will fit for that sophisticated decorating taste. The staff here are attending and friendly. Ample parking spaces and easy access to Mopac.

Leslie did an amazing job !!! She along with John spent a lot of time with us including coming out to our home to make sure what we selected was perfect. It had been quite a few years since I'd bought living room furniture, but Maya made the whole process less intimidating for me. One can be quickly overwhelmed by the number of couch and chair options, but Maya took the time to walk me through the whole store (probably more than once ), and took each of my criteria into consideration when helping find the right furniture my home. Maya made the whole experience very personable and I never felt pressured to make a purchase that wasn't right for me.

I had a delightful shopping experience working with Louis Shanks Interior Designer, Maya Moghadam. Maya took the time to get to know my taste and my end goals for the rooms I was decorating. She was very patient throughout the process and helped me select great pieces. The entire Louis Shanks team was super helpful and accommodating.

I have to budget extra when we go into Louis Shanks because we always find something we weren't planning on, but can't live without. Every last piece we have bought here becomes an instant family heirloom. Lesley helped us with a recliner years ago and has since become a trusted advisor in all things furniture related. We try other stores but always wind up back at LS because the downgrade quality at other stores just isn't worth the savings.

What a classy place! This is what furniture shopping should be. I loved it and found the most beautiful leather sectional!!! I m thrilled and they had it in stock! Delivering tomorrow! Can t wait!

We purchased a 10 piece round dining table from Louis Shanks. Leslie Wecher was patient and knowledgeable in helping us select the perfect dining table. When it arrived it was prettier than I had remembered. The quality is amazing and it is perfect for our dining room. We could not be happier with the selection and service from Louis Shanks.

I found the perfect sofa here right after buying a new home, and I absolutely love it!

About a week away from delivery, I started to panic that it might be too big to fit through our front door, so I went down to Louis Shanks to talk to the fabulous Leslie Wechter, who originally sold us the sofa. Not only did she take the time to look up the specs to make sure it would most likely fit, she assured me that no matter what happened (even if it wouldn t fit through the door), I would end up with a gorgeous sofa and she would be there to guide me through the entire process. Having someone there to relieve even a little bit of the stress of a big move is invaluable, and I cannot thank Leslie enough for her guidance and support and encouragement. She is a rock star, and I would highly recommend anyone looking for a beautiful new addition to their home furnishing collection come here first!!
