Just finished our time with Bruce Maldonado and our sweet girl Winn. We went into the process knowing it was us that needed training, and Bruce made the experience amazing. I now have the influence and skill sets I need to keep Winn safe and happy. I highly recommend Bruce and his ability to work with both the dog and the owner. Thanks Bruce, it was worth every penny.

We ended up with a very alpha/aggressive puppy. He was growling, snapping, and biting everyone in the family. After trying two other trainers with no luck, our last-ditch attempt to train him was Bruce from Lorenzo s Dog Training. If his behavior couldn t be corrected, then we were going to have re-home our pup.
I will admit that I was skeptical of the approach and program (and price) at first, but Bruce saved our puppy from being sent off to a rescue. After a few months of training our dog (and us), we get so many compliments on how well-behaved our dog is. It was worth every dollar. (As an added bonus, he boards our pup at a reasonable rate when we are out of town it s like getting free booster sessions included with your boarding!)

I reached out to Calvert Townes to assist with basic obedience 1 for my 5 y/o Husky, Mishka. Calvert helped me develop much-needed influence with her. She went from unresponsive to commands and pulling on leash, to being one of the most well-mannered pups I've met! He also helped me with my Great Dane, Dexter. At 165 lbs, he was a monster on the leash! The influence created left not only me able to confidently walk him, but my 2 year old can handle him with ease. I would recommend Lorenzo's (and Calvert) to anybody a million times over!
We completed on-leash training with Ascia and off-leash training with Colleen. Both worked patiently with my family and our VERY stubborn dog. I like that I was able to get in touch with them any time I needed to ask questions. We still need to continue to work with our dog on training, but he has improved so much! I would definitely take another dog here!
Tucker graduated from Lorenzo s over the weekend. Tucker and I enjoyed our sessions with Bruce Maldonado and looked forward to our weekly meetings. As Tucker s owner, I learned so much from Bruce on the proper training techniques and skill sets needed to keep Tucker safe and happy. Bruce is not only knowledgeable, but very passionate about his work and it shows. I highly recommend Bruce to any owner looking to give their dog the proper training. Thanks Bruce, you were awesome. I would recommend Lorenzo s to any dog owner!! Antoinette Luzano helped me get Tucker on track to being the best boy he can be! She was very kind, compassionate and informative throughout the whole process of training! She made sure to take her time to explain and train not only my pup but me as well when working with Tucker! Before going to Lorenzo s I had gone to multiple trainers and saw little to no improvement with my pup s aggression towards other dogs while on walks as well as his selective listening. After completing Tucker s training at Lorenzo s, he is a completely different dog!! If I ever get more pups I will be taking ALL of them to Lorenzo s.
I reached out to Bruce for help with my 4.5 year old boxer/pitt mix and his help was incredible and worth every penny. I love walking and hiking with her but she had ZERO manners and just her being able to walk well right beside me is more than I could ask for. Indie is also very anxious and a big scaredy-cat but I was able to have her lay down on concrete at Akron Pride without issues ! I almost cried. If you are considering dog training, do yourself a favor and call Bruce ASAP!! You won t regret it
Our experience with Lorenzo's Dog Training has been amazing so far! We did the two-week board and training with the trainer, Shavon in Atlanta, and our dog came back very well behaved and obedient! We are in the middle of the at-home training with the trainer, and Shavon is very patient with training my wife and I on how to properly handle the leash and voice the commands on the foundation he built with our dog. We no longer have to use treats and bribery to have our dog obey us. Now he has our respect.
Before we committed to dog training, we had a pretty wild and reckless rot/pit mix. During his one year reign of terror he shattered about 20 ornaments, 4 pairs of work pants, countless socks, and an infinite amount of stolen dog and human food alike. While we do have two other dogs our pup Cujo was my absolute first non-adult dog and I was a bit lost with training. He ignored me, wouldn t listen to commands, and stubbornly refused most everything until not even our first session with Bruce. We went in with Cujo for the preliminary class and I was sold almost immediately after walking through the door. The facility was clean and spacious, the other trainers were friendly and very hands on, and to top it all off after I tried for months to get my dog to lay down on command, they were able to get him to do it in less than ten minutes. Even the demonstration was phenomenal.
After working with Bruce through the spring it s like we have a totally different dog. He now walks off leash surrounded by distractions with absolutely zero problem, he will lay in a down/stay position until told, and knows various other commands as well. While he is still a puppy and is still learning, Bruce really does an excellent job of not only teaching your animal, but also teaching you the proper way to rear and take care of your dog. You can tell he absolutely loves and cares for each dog he takes care of and trains and it really shows in his passion for reaching. Bruce was very kind and really took the time to explain the logic of how to act with your animal friend and helped me learn the proper footing and commands step by step.
I cannot recommend Bruce and Lorenzo s Dog Training Team enough to anyone who has trouble with their dog no matter the age. Their team was absolutely kind and dedicated to helping us out just as much as our dog. 10/10.
We got Julian as a trainer and are so happy we did. My wife and I adopted a very aggressive 100 pound cane corso. We have two cats who he wanted to eat. He couldn t see another dog without him lunging and trying to eat. It was awful.
Julian recommended the boarded training and sent us a ton of photos of our dog while he was away.
Within a month my dog is a completely new dog. We can go into the pet store with my dog being fine. Couldn t be more happy with the training. I would definitely recommend!
