Nice hotel and surroundings lovely stay. Well away from the town so quiet as you would want in my opinion anyway. My room was a suite tv in room was to small but minor complaint. Yes will definitely revisit soon
Dinner was good. Turkey and husband had the beef. No issues with dinner.
Had coffee afterwards. I got a cappuccino and it was a machine, press a button, job. TBH - I don't find that good enough.
I ve had the pleasure of photographing many weddings here over the years. The staff are always friendly and very helpful, there s great space for guests to mingle and have a laugh, including an outdoor area. Beautiful areas across the river for photos also. This is a great hotel for a wedding!
Had beautiful food there today. Staff where very helpful and accommodating during these difficult times. Would recommend to give it a try. Lovely place and great staff.

Just be aware most dishes are meaty. So if you're vegan or vegetarian, you might be out of luck.
There's plenty of parking. Service is good and the premises are clean.

Was treated to dinner out recently and I cannot fault the food in the Lord Bagenal. Delicious! First time there. Beautiful decor, friendly attentive staff - our server for the night was Deborah :)
Must return on a warm day when we can sit outside and admire the scenery. Highly recommend the Lord Bagenal and will be back :)

Very comfortable warm well maintained rooms. Great food in the restaurant and hearty breakfast. Very friendly and helpful staff. Really enjoyed my stay.
