Extremely informational. The video about loons was very informative. The photographs of the loons were gorgeous. It's small, but packed with info. We also walked a portion of the trail, so lush and green.

Absolutely beautiful place to visit! Clean, well maintained hiking trails, that would be suitable for any age to walk along. Definitely a family friendly place. There's a little gift shop that offers all sorts of great trinkets and little gifts, and the staff is very knowledgeable and so friendly! I would definitely recommend visiting here! It is so beautiful!

Great learning experience with the kids. Plan on 1 to 2 hours+ if do long loop trail. Coloring sheets for the kids and a scavenger hunt sheet help learning. No admission, but a donation instead is nice to say thanks for the nice experience.

The only reason for 3 stars instead of more is on this particular day, there were no loons to see

A nice peaceful walk by the lake. One of the loops is about 2 miles long while the other one is short (about a 5 minute walk). The building itself has some really nice gifts in the store area, a 20 minute presentation you can stick around for, as well as a restroom. Great place to come and take your mind off of things.

The presentation space and gift store is handicap accessible. The parking lot is gravel. BUT the trail to see the actual loons is not. I enjoy nature hikes so enjoyed the hike through the woods. Besides the loons I thing we saw deer tracks.

This is an educational nature activity.
