I applied for a position with Looking Glass Cyber Solutions a while back since I read positive reviews online. I was interviewed at their Reston location. As soon as I opened and walked past their glass door, I was greeted by an extremely unprofessional and obnoxious individual at the front desk. For some reason she seemed upset and I wasn't sure if she was having a bad day or something. She practically raised her voice when she was asking me questions about where I parked, etc. The e-mail mentioned to park in back of the building, which turned out to be the customer parking and not the visitor parking as mentioned in the e-mail. I had to run back to my car to place their company parking pass so my car would not get towed. But the thing that nearly got me was the fact, instead of just handing me a pen so that I could sign in for the interview, she tossed the pen at me. I came an inch close to walking out at that point but I kept my composure and I didn't leave since I drove 30 miles out for the interview. This all happened before the interview, so I had a terrible first impression of the company and all of their employees. Fortunately, the two managers that were interviewing me were very professional, knowledgeable, and had a positive demeanor, so I gave 1 star for that. But having said that, I am still in awe of how ill behaved the receptionist was and I will never apply to Looking Glass ever again.
