The overall experience left much to be desired. The staff seemed overwhelmed and not particularly attentive to guests' needs. Although the facilities had potential, they fell short on cleanliness and maintenance. It felt like a missed opportunity, as the location is beautiful, but the service did not match. 😕

The redevelopment of the course and clubhouse has really pushed Lonsdale Links into the premier league of golf courses. It's a challenging course, but leaves a bit of leeway for the beginner. I am really looking forward to seeing what the new chef and catering staff, perhaps a 5th star awaits

This is a fantastic short course in top condition! The new nine holes fits in with the old nine perfectly. A great example of how to do links golf well! The landscaping blends into to natural environment really well, due to the extensive use of native plants. A true pleasure to look at and play. Also, l am not a big hitter, so l really loved the non gender tees!!!! I like to play Tee It Forward golf (it s just more fun) when l am playing socially or by my self. Not having gender based tees helped me to feel more comfortable when l m teeing off. I will be back.

Great course! Will definitely be a must play on the ballarine once the next 9 is finished in Dec. for now it s 9 holes but they and extremely fun and challenging, can t wait to play it again. Just a heads up that it s a long walk to the 1 may tee form the car park so give yourself an extra 10-15 mins before tee off

We took a 5.30pm dinner Booking and were able to enjoy a beautiful autumnal sunset to start. The table service was friendly and efficient with the meals arriving in quick time. The seats were a very comfortable design. Interesting menu with plenty of choice. I particularly enjoyed the duck breast as my main. The accoustics in the restaurant are brilliant for conversation even with a crowd present. We'll return for more.

The course is in great condition and great to play. We were surprised by how hilly it is and the length (we walked about 12 km) . The layout is unusual and hole criss cross over each other, but signage is poor. Clubhouse is great, although not enough staff on the bar for our fund raiser event. The course will be up there with the other premium courses on the Bellarine.
