Long Beach Ballet Arts Review

This is my favorite ballet school for my daughter. They give positive environment to young girls and boys. The annual Nutcracker performance at the Long Beach Terrace Theater is the best show.

This is a serious dance studio, not your casual city rec class environment. You will need to buy the right stuff and have their hair in the right kind of bun. Great if you are serious about ballet. May be a bit much for an exercise alternative.

Great ballet company with a dedicated Director who truly loves and cares about his student's development as artists and human beings.

Awesome place to bring your little ones for ballet lessons. Great dance teachers. Very well run organization. Performances- Nutcracker and the spring show are always amazing. I highly recommend Long Beach Ballet!

After going through 2 other very pricy Dance studios my daughter has finally found a place that she feels comfortable and will give her the education she desires.

Landmark ballet center for classes in Long Beach. Has been operating out of the same location for at least three generations. They have a Peet's coffee right next door that is part of the academy with a relaxed and friendly atmosphere. They made me a coffee custom to my order that was far superior to what I recieve at my local St*r*u*ks coffee shop. The staff and patrons tend to have an off putting air about them as well as a cliqueish attitude when arriving with a new child and needing to ask questions in order to orient oneself. One of the better values around for ballet Instruction in the area and they produce various performance pieces in theatres that allows students to showcase their skills.

I love LBB because this is such a loving enviornment where I have made so many loveing and caring friends. The teachers are so kind and push the limit so you can soon be professional dancer. I have come here since i was 4 years old.

So I've been here since I was five. Classes are amazing and I love all my friends there. The teachers are super cool and I would definitely recommend this place if you love ballet!

How much do you pay each month for class? Is it too expensive or affordable?

My daughter went here in the 80's and my grand daughter goes now. It only got better.

My kid love this place. Always a welcoming smile. And the teachers are amazing.

Long Beach Ballet Arts Center is a Class Organization

Yesterday, Nov 1, 2014 - I was deeply honored to be a guest of the Long Beach Ballet Arts Center.

Artistic Director, David Wilcox and Ballet Mistress, Shani Englert were gracious hosts as I was greeted and invited to view rehearsals for their upcoming Nutcracker Season.

I was deeply moved by the level of excellence and professionalism shown by this young group of talented dancers.

This year's program is being billed as their '32nd Anniversary of Southern California's Most Popular Production' and America's Most Spectacular Production of The Nutcracker. I must agree with this statement.

Talented staff at a serious ballet studio. We moved here because we wanted more focused ballet with development in the classical style

The eldest has been a student for a year and has made the cut for their Nutcracker performance thanks to a great and attentive teacher. The studio is really nice especially since the rebuild. But they could stand to have a larger men's room accommodation.
