Amazing service, food is awesome. The appetizers is fresh and delicious. The server was prompt and well mannered. If I could drive from Louisiana every week ,Texas Land and Cattle would be my spot to go and enjoy a hot meal.
Omg!!! So wonderful. Nina (our waitress/asst manager) took great care of us. She was short staffed, stepped in and was excellent. New to the area, she couldn't answer a question we had but she found a staff member who could answer the question. The food was on-point!! Salmon was fixed perfectly. Well and Medium-Well steaks were prepared and cooked perfectly as well. If ever back in Texas, im definitely coming back.
It was okay, not as high quality as it was a few years ago but not the worst. I was concerned when we pulled up because it was pretty empty for a Friday night even though the other steak place we drove to previously had an hour wait. Maybe because this place is hard to see from the street? I'm not sure - I last came here about 6 years ago and it was always packed back then.
My steak was kinda tough, even though it was cooked correctly. The mashed potatoes had too many potato skins - I wound up putting those in a little pile of to the side. The cookie was good and chocolatey, though the scoop of ice cream they give you with it was pretty small. My Moscow mule was okay but mostly ginger beer and pretty light on the vodka. Our server was nice and attentive. So yeah, it was okay - not fireworks but okay. I thought it was a little expensive for the quality you were getting. 2 people with 1 drink apiece, no appetizer and 1 dessert to share was $100 after tip.
The good: NY Strip and queso were great. The service was awesome! I went at 2ish in the afternoon and was served by the manager.
The bad: the baked potato was overcooked causing 1/2 the skin inedible. Also, for a loaded baked potato, it was very blah.
Unequivocally one of the best steaks I have ever had at a restaurant. Great service. Amazing to see other busy waiters/waitresses helping each other as well. Easy 5-stars, thanks Texas Land and Cattle, left full, and still have a light lunch for tomorrow. Awesome. Total family high-five!
Dined in last night in hopes to receive a quality meal. Started with horrible service. Had to ask for everything from refills, to utensils, to clearing the table to make room for main course. Ordered the smoked steak which was supposed to be cooked to medium. Instead it was undercooked and when it was brought out it was not even warm/hot to the touch. I've had this kind of steak before. Never have I tasted a steak that tasted like the way this one was cooked no flavor.... Baked potato was cold as well. Notified waitress and manager discounted the steak. Order Texas Brownie for dessert which was literally the worst brownie with ice cream I ve ever had. Brownie was HARD and ice cream was brought out already melted. DEFINITELY WON'T BE DINING HERE AGAIN. TO HAVE PAID 60$ FOR A MEAL AND TO NOT LEAVE SATISFIED IS RIDICULOUS.
Excellent food, great service, our waiter was very personable and the prices reasonably.
First time in. Had a great experience. Great food and service. Rex was awesome and was helping out with making sure everyone.on the restaurant was taken care for it. Thank you for a great lunch. We will be back!
Everything was absolutely perfect, from the service to the food and dessert. Will definitely recommend and return.
Great. Alott of changed I don't think was needed it was already great. Miss the baked sweet potatoes and the bread the Cowgirl ribeye. But still good.
