Avoid at all costs - we no longer use this company and informed them last year that we did not need their service, we have writen twice and phoned twice, remember this was last year, once again we have received a letter demanding outstanding money, another phone call, in which we were told they had not received our previous 2 letters and could not action anything over the phone. SORT YOUR ADMIN OUT. I agree Engineers were very good, but boy oh boy could their back office do with someone who knows what they are doing.

They seem to live in a parallel universe where the company is always right and the customer no more than an irritation to be charged extra money when the equipment the company has installed turns out (once again) to be defective. For a year our smoke alarm has gone off of its own accord. First guy came round to change the batteries. I was charged a call-out fee. Next guy (the guys visiting are always nice, to be fair) changed the alarm. I was charged a call-out fee and the cost of the new alarm. Now the new one's just gone off at 7am. They want to charge me a call-out fee to have it looked at. This irritated me. I was told off by the person on the other end of the phone for being irritated. As if this extraordinary policy of charging the customer repeatedly for the failings of the company is a perfectly normal way of conducting business. Theirs is a parallel universe, all right. Keep out of it is my advice

Most of the other reviews on here seem very harsh. I've been with LSG for years now without any issues. My sister has just used them, on my recommendation, to install an alarm system at her home because she wanted to have the same set up as mine. She's very happy with her new found security and it didn't cost her as much as she thought it might. Good company and I am happy to recommend them.

If I could I give zero stars! Absolutely a nightmare to deal with ... you have to pay an annual service but anytime you need anything from them (even just a specification of the alarm system they installed) you have to pay. Even if the alarm goes off you have a monitoring station who does not help you with anything and you just get charged! They don t even call to anyone when your alarm goes on but just wait for you to call the remote reset who can t actually reset the system as you need an engineer to call you back and wait for who knows how long ... good luck to anyone who will use them!! I am already looking for other companies as this company is just lucky to be named as London security group so probably got some customers which they can just rip off!!!!

Hassle free installation and not expensive - app for managing the alarm is v good.

Former long-time client but high charges compared to others, failed to tell us they had moved offices and then 'mislaid' our correspondence, never replied to an email informing them of our office move then sent a letter 3.5 months after we moved asking for payment for monitoring an empty office! There are nicer security companies out there I am sure.

If I could give zero stars, I would. An absolutely awful company to deal with - zero customer service - can't get through on the phones and they don't have an email address - you have to send them a letter in order to communicate. Don't believe the 5 star reviews - I would imagine they have been written by LSG or their friends. Avoid this company at all costs.

Absolutely do not use these people. I cancelled my contract 2 years ago and they are saying I still owe them money. You can't call them so everything needs to be done by letters in the post. Welcome to 2018. I am reporting them to watchdog

Sorry to read the bad reviews I have been with them from the very early days when they were Xtal and am now on my third house with one of their systems fitted. I originally went with them because they were recommended by my local crime prevention officer. Neat installation reasonable costs, systems very reliable, maintenance and support costs far lower than most companies and from the office to their call out guys all very nice people. I would not use another company.
