I've been studying here for a little over one year with Ricardo. Lessons were always at the right amount of pace: manageable yet still with that bit of challenge. His directions are also always easy to understand, giving tricks to improve my piano playing that you would never grasp by learning alone. I am quite happy with my progress, and would recommend the place for any adult beginners!
I've been a student at the London Piano Institute for a while now and I couldn't recommend it more. I haven't played piano before and started from the beginning with Maya. I noticed a great improvement in the past year, although we have been having classes online. I really enjoy the classes with Maya!
I ve been taking lessons with Chavdar since October 2020. He s a clear communicator, an insightful teacher, and an incredibly expressive and skilled musician. In our lessons, we naturally cover fundamentals of technique and theory, but Chavdar makes sure the focus is always on musicality: how to interpret a piece or phrase in a way that is not only beautiful but also your own. Music isn t my main focus, but I always look forward to the next lesson, and I feel the right balance of being pushed and guided. I thoroughly recommend the piano institute to anyone (at any level) interested in learning how to play or improving at the piano.
I've been learning the piano with Maya for a couple of years now and it's been a wonderful experience. I've studied pieces from a variety of genres which makes learning really fun. I transitioned to online lessons during covid-19 and the quality of lessons was still very good! Highly recommended
I started studying piano last September with Chavdar with absolutely no knowledge about music and I have learnt so much in only a few months. Chavdar is a fantastic teacher, classes are fun with him and unfortunately they go too fast. I would 100% recommend the London Piano Institute if you are a beginner (like I used to be) or someone who already has some experience.
It is a very good school. My friends said that it is visible the progress I have made since I ve started studying the piano there. I strongly recommend it if you want to have lessons.
I have been piano student of Ricardo for 4 years now and it has been great experience. Ricardo is amazing teacher - he is kind, patient and encouraging. He is experienced and enthusiastic musician and he really knows how to teach well. He is adapting to my strengths and weaknesses and uses his experience to support my learning path.
I started as an absolute beginner and thanks to London Piano Institute I am enjoying playing piano more and more. This would not be possible without competent teacher and in-person classes (although online classes during COVID period were almost as good).
I've been having my weekly lessons with Ljubica for almost a year now and I could not be happier. She is of course an exceptional professional and a kind tutor. She can draw parallels between your existing skills and music/piano, which makes learning much easier. She is always supportive and I'm very happy with my progress so far. To many more lessons in 2021!
A really nice experience. Chavdar is an amazing teacher, very professionnal and patient. I have been taking weekly lessons with him at the Institute for about 9 months, and they have been very accommodating with the lockdown, switching to online classes when necessary, and sticking to the government rules. Also very responsive whenever you have a question, so really, couldn't be happier with them!
I'm about to complete a month with the institute, and their one to one piano lessons. Prior to my enrollment I had never before played piano or any other instrument. To which my instructor Ricardo was extremely understanding and polite going through all the basics all the way from learning how to read sheet music to exploring rhythm, as well as following a piano course textbook fitted to my individual needs. Thus I would like to recommend not only Ricardo but the London Piano institute when it comes to a journey with music.
