Lockerly Arboreturm Review

Super friendly staff and gorgeous grounds. Great way to spend an hour or two. Lots of walking so bring some water and comfortable shoes.

A unique place to visit. I never would have thought a "tree garden" would be as interesting as this place was. A quiet place with a great variety of trees to look at and appreciate.

Beautiful. Wish they were open, but it is the Christmas season, so, my fault. Was able to snag a couple of pics.

This place is so cool. You can get a self-guided tour for $3 per person for adults and children I believe are free. Or you can have the guided tour but you have to call them for more information. And yes this place is definitely haunted!

It's Spooktober! The scarecrows are here! Enchanting grounds. The fountain pump was down,so no delish water..but I'm still rating all stars because it is so peaceful here! We voted for our favorite scarecrow..Sirenna,she is on the island!

Was sure what to expect, much to my surprise....it was great look forward to many trips back. The plants, the knowledge of the people there.

I wish I could rate this higher but with COVID-19 closing Rose Hill residence, the parts of the Arboretum were similar to walking through the forest. Basically, it was harder to see the beauty in the individual plants apart from the overgrown forest floor. Its okay, though.
