We belong to a Club in Northern Michigan and spend tens of thousands having boilers installed less then 10 years ago. They are now shot. Junk. This firm does not stand behind their product and will not help in any way. They won't admit to potential installation issue so as to protect their installer Sweet Heat and Cooling. Stay away from both of these firms. Bad news and lost money.

My experience is how they bought out a great American company to eradicated their competition. Then watch as they tear it down! We had been told that AO smith made a living out of destroying companies and leaving its employees without jobs! They are doing it again at Lochinvar in Lebanon Tn. My prayers are with those that are still employed by this company. They don t care about quality products! They are a liberal company that cares only about their own greedy pocket book ! My suggestion to anyone working for them is to get out while the job market is open! When they start closing doors and using your livelihood as a write off for their gain it s gonna be hard to find something else! This company don t care about its employees. They have done the same routine of buying up and using the companies ideas and designs then dissolving the company when the time comes to benefit them!!! So sad!!!! I pray for those in those corporate offices that believe that is what makes you successful! I hope you realize that those small people that you don t think matters..... have made you ,who you think you are!!! And Know that your going to answer to a higher power for what you have done to so many in the name of greed! I feel sorry for you most of all!
I bought a 40 gallon hot water tank 2 and a half years ago. It already started leaking. It has a 6 year tank warranty. I had it professionally installed. It cost $975.00. The company felt bad that installed it. They gave me a break on reinstalling it. I still had to pay $225.00 out of pocket again. I called this company and they said there is nothing they can do about it. Terrible customer service!! They do NOT stand behind their product!@
Got a replacement tank under warranty. A little problem but not bad. That was back in October. Had problems with installations - Instruction Manual is confusing causing problems. It is now December many phone calls asking for help from tech support. What support have not received one call. Oh, did I mention very little hot water for the past month. Even spoke to mgr John Sinclair promised to look in to it. Haven't heard a word. Would u buy from this company???
Purchased a Lochinvar Noble Fire Tube Boiler in September 2019. I had the pleasure of speaking with the Regional Sales Manager named John Danek. My interaction with him was one of the best customer service experiences that I have ever had. John Danek took the time to listen and immediately took action to assist me. I live in a small Rural Upstate New York Town and was so fortunate that this man helped me. The Lochinvar Company is so lucky to have him. His customer service skills are outstanding. Five Stars!!
They have the worse customer support line that I have ever had , they don't call you back for hours ! I'll never install another boiler from them ! Navian is the Best
I have a new construction and I moved in March 2020. I have an elaborate water system with radiant floor heat, Lochinvar water storage tank and a Lochinvar WHB155N. The WHB155N, although not even a year old, has been giving me a ton of problems. It has just been turning off. The initial installer came over 3x and couldn't get it fixed. Frustrated I called the regional Lochinvar representative. They in turn had a local guy come to my house with the installer. They were there for a while, replaced a part, then left. At that time they ordered another part as a backup. Again, it stopped working. The local installer came over for the 5th time, replaced the part that they ordered, and it stopped working again. The local installer is now coming back again Monday to modify a factory setting that contractors are told not to touch. That doesn't sound reassuring at all. I told the installer, the local Lochinvar rep, and the regional one, if it breaks down again after Monday it is being completely replaced or my money is being 100% refunded.
I Install Lochinvar all the time. I assure you if you get a bad unit it is a rare occasion. They stand by the products they make. In my area FIA represents them well. If I may Jerry Murray stands out umongs the best.
I have Lochinvar in multi family buildings, in my own home, in many customers homes.
Trust and reliability is what this company is all about.
