Stunning, imposing, and yet delicate. You can pay for parking ( 2) and visit the gift shop and tea House. Visit the kitchen where Downton Abbey was filmed. No entrance fee since it is connected to the gift shop. Bathrooms available in the courtyard. You can take some beautiful photos from outside the castle.

I have had the pleasure of playing this magnificent course twice now and I would go back in the blink of an eye. It is simply one of the best courses I have ever played. From the manicured greens to the many stunning holes, to the setting itself..... superb!

I was very fortunate to walk the entire golf course with friends who were playing a round. There is simply no other course around the world that can compare with Loch Lomond Golf Club. Even though I wasn t playing, the overall experience is just incredible, the course condition, location, surroundings and exquisite natural beauty of this place is the best I have ever experienced, and this includes Augusta National Golf Club, which I have been to a few times. I believe that Tom Weiskopf designed this masterpiece, and he has done a remarkable job, using the breathtaking Scottish countryside and surroundings to the maximum.

It doesn't get any better than this. The course is majestic but it's the entire experience that makes this one of the world's best.
The second you drive though the gates you enter a bubble of faultless class.
If you ever get a chance to play Loch Lomond, jump at it.
