Excellent service, outstanding food with unique flavors, just loved it!

Excellent service and delicious food. The ambiance is great, sophisticated and yet cozy.
Great atmosphere for either a date night or a small gathering. Interior is nice but not stuffy with medium noise level.
Mains looked so good that I forgot to stop and take pictures.
Only critique is the desserts. Dark chocolate dessert was great, others were interesting but ultimately not tasty.
Locanda Verde has delightful plates. I enjoyed so much this restaurante with such a nice atmosphere to have a romantic date, although the service could be improved, the food is worth it.
Lunch is often the best bet to get a table in somewhat reasonable amount of time. You really can't go wrong with anything. Highlights include sheep's milk ricotta, ravioli, fire-roasted garlic chicken
Food is delicious. Portions are small, so men, if you're hungry, eat before you arrive. A bit on the pricey side.
Went right before they were closing the brunch menu and they still managed to provide excellent attention. Great food - the pumpkin affogato was out of this world!
Nice place and good food, although there are very few choices for vegetarians on the menu. They are very accommodating though.
Definitely a fun spot, but tough to get in. Great food with a fun crowd. Lots to choose from
Food was excellent, everything else not so much unfortunately.
Only came for drinks. Beautiful space. Great by the glass selection.
Amazing food. Nice romantic ambience. Get the Cacio Pepe - it s amazing. You can request it even if it s not on the menu.
Great vibe, great food! Can t wait to get back and eat here again!
The lobby is a nice pre-meal escape during the wait. Have only been here for dinner and found the octopus appetizer and desserts delightful. Our server and his assistance were also exceptional.
Delicious rustic Italian small plates and pastas are the game here. I fell in love with the brussels sprouts and the lively environment is a great space for any celebration or event. In the always hopping Tribeca area, this is a smart place to sait your appetite. Be sure to come hungry and thirsty!
I find Andrew Carmellini's restaurants very inconsistent. I've been delighted every time I've been to Leuca and Little Park, but the food at Locanda Verde was not as good and considerably more expensive.
My friends have raved about it in the past. but I didn't have that experience the other night. It seemed like a place that had been and is very popular, but is just coasting on its reputation instead of being vigilant about maintaining what made people love it in the first place.
The service was adequate, but the menu offerings seemed unexciting as compared to his other places. The appetizers were fine, but it's hard to go wrong with a tomato salad in September and the salad was good.
My clam pasta was paltry and a bit dry. We sent the duck back because it was almost raw and the skin was flabby and it came back after an inordinate amount of time overcooked.
The spectacular plants outside needed water.
Nice place. Excellent food. Good service. Had a nice morning here.
Great service, designed place, big and tasty dishes
By far the most authentic Italian experience and food I ve ever had.
Amazing pasta. I went with my friend that has a gluten allergy and they brought pasta and bread for her too.
Went here for brunch. Service was great. Cocktails were well made. Unfortunately, I was a little disappointed with the food. Maybe it's because I went there late during the brunch service, but the food was ordinary. The quality was good, but it just didn't seem to be very creative. I felt like I could have gotten the same food elsewhere. It was just OK. I've been to this restaurant before, and previous meals were usually noteworthy. Today, though, was neither bad nor excellent - just safe and average.
Here for a wedding reception, food and service was perfect.
Great atmosphere excellent service. Highly recommend Grandmas ravioli.
Food was ok.. atmosphere was nice. Expensive for lunch for 2 people, but it is Tribeca.
Inacreible place. In Tribeca, New York a restaurant bar of the best level! Simply GREAT. That if CARISIMOOOOO!
Absolutely amazing, incredible food. The best place I've been to in a really really looking time. Wow!
Easy going, fun menu...tried but not tired. Nice vibe. Great stop or linger.
Restaurant with a very nice atmosphere, the food is good, the service very nice and the decoration between modern and old very cool.
Zucchini frittata was really good but the latte was a average.
Really enjoyed it, with good service and great food
We got the monkey bread, grits, ricotta, and uova modenese. The food was good, though nothing exceptional. Service was friendly but sloppy (kept leaving things out, cleared plates when it was empty but forgot to bring plates with the dish, etc.) With so many amazing brunch places, it's not a place I would revisit by myself. Beautiful space, would be good for large gatherings.
Beautiful place and decoration . Good service. Great bread and interesting brunch options.
Food was divine, outstanding, fantastic, and so forth. Not sure if the pasta portions were small (I could've eaten more) or if we've been conditioned by other restaurants to expect enough to take home in a foil swan. Thoroughly enjoyed the whole experience - it's good to be left wanting more of a good thing, right? Service was spot on and helpful.
My favorite brunch in the city. Make dinner reservations and get grandma's ravioli
Really wonderful! I would stay here a million times over again!
Pay a good bit more for food that's a good bit better. I had brunch. Does the place feel stylish or just expensively half empty? I think the former. They make an effort. Will return with more suitcases of cash.
We went to a wedding reception here last night and we can't wait to go back and try their menu items. The food is fresh, flavorful and professionally created and served.
Warm, inviting ambiance in trendy TriBeCa neighborhood. Lovely spot for weekend brunch - both the lemon ricotta pancakes with fresh blueberries and a tart meyer lemon curd and the hazelnut-crusted french toast are delicious for those not intimidated by carbs. The coffees and pastries are also delicious, affordable and available to go. We also attend a special private dinner event here - Andrew Carmellini makes amazing fried chicken and collard greens!
I went here for lunch, I got the steak and eggs and the rice chocolate pudding! Excellent food!
Fabulous! Loved our wine server. So friendly and right there with the refill of a delightful white!
Sheep's milk ricotta, meatball slides, Grandma's ravioli. That's all you need to be transported to Italian paradise.
I went to this restaurant last Sunday in the spirit of trying out a new place. The food was tasty but the portions were way too small. But the most disappointing thing was the service. You would think that a high end place would treat their customers better, unfortunately that was not the case. One of the saddest brunch I've ever had.
Amazing Italian restaurant for both cool atmosphere and wonderful food!! Definitely want to come back when I visit NY again.
Fantastic authentic Italian l. I would highly recommend
I got the squid ink linguini and loved it. The wine choices were phenomenal and the appetizers were varied and delicious. If you are looking for a top notch Italian joint with a fun atmosphere, come here.
A really nice restaurant. We did breakfast here, and it was sublime. Not too busy on 11/31, and love the food, and service.
Marvelous Food. I've been here a few times and it has never disappointed.
Very delicious. Recommend the blue crab crostini and the casarecce. A little overly boistrous at times, and we were there on a thursday. Great friendly staff that if very knowledgeable.
I finally made it to Locanda Verde after hearing so much about this place. The atmosphere is very fun and it doesn't take itself too seriously. There's no dress code, and you'll see everything from bankers and women dressed to the nines, to the very casual. The food here was good, but nothing special, service was fast and our server was very knowledgeable making some excellent suggestions. This is certainly a good place to come out and enjoy some food and beverages with friends... if you can get a table.
This place serves outstanding food. Started with a crostini of the day which was minced pork sausage and paired it with a glass of Champagne. Second course was a delicious spaghetti pasta. To top it off the garlic roast chicken was superb.
All dishes were suggested by my wonderful, knowledgeable server:Erin.
This is one of the best restaurants I have ever eaten
Good food and good service. But like most things in Manhattan it's overpriced for what it is. I would go to New Jersey if you want really good Italian food
Go for brunch. Great space and lovely atmosphere. Yummy food, what more could you want on a weekend.
Food was good but the service was exceptional. Very lively place. Great crowd. Nice bar area.
For the past two years, my Mom and I have visited Locanda Verde for Mother's Day brunch and we look forward to continuing the tradition. The ambiance is gorgeous, the food is delish and the bread basket is a must.
Tutti deliciously, it s a great restaurant in TriBeCa.
Italian food, the menu is not so extensive but it s quality.
You are going to enjoy and have a great time with the beautiful ambience and the excellent food!
The service is great!
I had something that the waitress highly recommended. I cant remember the name, but it was so delicious! Great service and great food and I dont even like italian food. The chocolate rice pudding with pears is a MUST. One of the best desserts I've ever had.
The service far exceeded what I'd been led to expect. The food was quite good (QUITE good). The prices were in line with any number of not-as-good NYC restaurants. If this sounds like a lukewarm review it isn't. Highly recommended. Update: sadly, after about a half-dozen visits to Locanda Verde, not only can I no longer recommend it, but will not be coming back. Both service, and more important, food have gone downhill. To the latter, I presume there's a new chef trying to put his Mark on things. One simple and amazing dish in particular, the ricotta and truffle/honey on orange infused Bread, has been rendered all but inedible by the addition of dill ... DILL! ... to the recipe. An amateurish move at a place that was previously a bastion of professional execution on everything. Sorry to sound like the food snob I am, but... You lost me.
Great place, service exceptional, great food.
Will go again
Very attentive, friendly service. GOOD FOOD. Typically high NYC pricing.
Very good restaurant that supposedly belongs to Robert De Niro, unfortunately he was not present that evening;). The tables are very tight, it is full and also very loud, but that doesn't make the atmosphere so good that you are completely absorbed and feel like in Italy in the "old days". The service is extremely friendly and very attentive. The food was exceptionally good. We will definitely come again. A table reservation is highly recommended, but this is only possible one week in advance, good luck :)
Great (and very rich) food with an amazing dessert selection.
Super good place to go but always full . Must have a reservation
The place is very beautiful and in a good location. The food was delicious, at a more or less adequate price. There is no place to park near the restaurant so you have to pay to park the car
Good for brunch, although it's very crowded and noisy. The hotel's owner is Bob De Niro.
Amazing food and service. I'm glad I got to do lunch there
Food and service was white table fine. Atmosphere was fun and great walk thru city.
We came for the brunch and everything taste so good! The staff were amazing!
