Do not apply to become an electrician if you're not already an electrician.

I applied there some time ago and while passing both exams, was told I scored poorly on the oral interview and put into their wait-list. Vague doesn't begin to describe the oral interview, 5 people sat around and ask one question apiece. Not having anything to do with electrician work at all, things like "how did you solve a problem by yourself" or "Name a time you started a job by yourself from start to finish" once your questions are answered you leave. You can always apply again for the oral exam again if you fail, but you need over 1000h of job experience or certified classes in the respective field.

The point of an apprenticeship is to take someone who knows nothing and make them something.
