My husband used Loan Lawyers to fight our lender in court. Despite attempting to resolve and pay back an unexpected tax penalty due to an expired homestead exemption and deed change after taking a loan to pay medical bills, the lender, without proper notice started a foreclosure against him. immediately, my husband answered the complaint the best he could . After several months the bank filed a summary judgment action and at that time my husband contacted Loan Lawyers. From day one , the attorneys and assistants at Loan Lawyers got to work on the case expounding on and challenging the banks authority to foreclose. Eventually the case was lost at trial and an appeal was taken by my husband. Since the evidence and trial documents were very skillfully preserved by Loan Lawyers, the appeal was effective in reversing the foreclosure and reinstating ownership of the
property back to my husband. However the bank took issue with paying back the entitled attorney's fees spent fight the " bank " after all these years. I am writing this review to inform potential customers about the terrible experience I have had with this firm. I cannot recall being treated this poorly by any other organization. It began around the first week of December 2018. I requested a consultation from this firm. An appointment was scheduled. I arrived for my appointment 10 minutes early. This is where the problems began. I was escorted into a conference room around the start of my appointment time to fill out paperwork. 30 minutes after my appointment time, I left as no one bothered to check in to the conference room to let me know when or if anyone would be coming (they disagree, and believe it was closer to 15 minutes). They reached out an apologized, let me know that my case had been reviewed and that there was hope for a positive outcome. There was a time element involved, requiring me to move some money around for their fee as well as cancel my appointments to get to the bank for a notary for their paperwork. I sent them their paperwork, paid their fee as I promised to do. The next day I receive a call that lasted about 5 minutes. It went from having been reviewed with hope to consider filing bankruptcy. Suffice it to say I was not happy about all of the hoops I was made to go through for no reason. Fast forward to February 2019. I have had no further communication with this firm, yet somehow they have taken money from my bank account. Even more, they had no idea that they took the money. I reached out to them before 9am via email and at 9am by phone to get them to fix the hardship they are now causing me. I am writing this review at 3:32 p.m. No call back, no apology, nothing from them. I can't be sure if it is the color of my skin or my economic status, but this firm decided I was not worth their time the moment they met me. I can't say if this will happen to you, as I did not know that it would happen to me until it already did. But you can not say that you were not warned about them.

Chapter 7 bankruptcy customer here! I just received my notice of discharge today. I didn't have to pay one cent back despite being advised due to complications with my finances before filing that I may have to pay at least a percentage of the debt back. It's been about a year of going back and forth with documents and requirements. I have no words to describe the wonderful US laws regarding credit card debts and personal loans, and most of all the most outstanding firm to help their customers above and beyond. People can say whatever they want about the US, this and that, but one thing I can tell you is that almost no country gives you such freedom on every aspect of life. Jason Charles was my paralegal and Anna Huertas was my attorney. Both incredibly helpful from beginning to end. Now I "owe a huge debt of gratitude" thanks to them. I'm not sure I'm allowed to discuss pricing and numbers here, but for those who need some reference, Loan Lawyers in my personal experience is the place to go when it comes to filing for bankruptcy on a "budget." I say this between quotation marks because some customers may consider their services expensive, but not at all for what they're really offering. Apparently I must of had staff that didn't have the level of customer service that others experienced. My first experience didn't go very well. When I went in for a consultation it took them 20 mins to find my appointment because they booked it under my wife's name and not mine which I don't understand because she didn't call to book it I did. Needless to say 45 mins after my appointment I was still waiting. But... that wasn't the worst of it. About a week later I called to speak with the person how was helping me and of course they were busy so I asked them to call me back when they can. A week later I still didn't hear from them so I called again, and again, not available so I ask to be called back again, and again it took almost three days for them to call me, and once they did call me it was to tell me they couldn't do anything for me and that if a suit was brought against me that they would be happy to represent me. REALLY? I'm treated like that and I'm going to call them... I think not!! The impression I was left with was they had no interest in helping me because they would make enough to be worth it. I guess it is time to find a REAL attorney that cares about me and my case.

My story is a remarkable story and if you believe in god anything is possible. 3year ago i was fighting a family court case trying to locate my son samual. Sad story but i was able to win family court, full custody da judge awarded me. I was one proud father. a 3 year court case finally over god bless the judge. Other attorneys elsewhere told me they couldn't win so I knew what to expect. I was however desperate to find a gifted attorney, a real fighter and I prayed to God for the same. The next day I came across a firm called Loan Lawyers on the web and was quickly contacted by an attorney called Jon Benjamin. He was the first attorney to ask me in-depth about what had happened, with his questions on point. I told him about the conduct of the bank. I was struck by the professionalism of Loan Lawyers from the outset. Jon Benjamin was courteous, meticulous in his work, extremely focused and diligent. He was hired and set about his work with a quiet determination and refreshing energy. I was mindful that he was taking on two huge players being one of the biggest banks and separately a humongous corporate entity.

By the year 2006, the company I'd started working for in 1983 had changed ownership 4 times with each successive turn-over resulting in loss of seniority as well as of accumulated/unused days. Facing a turnover of pension funds at a time that interest rates were plummeting, gas prices were at an all-time-high and the housing market was crashing, I invested all I had into purchasing this house. Though Countrywide was the initial holder of the note they soon sold it to Bank of America. In 2009 I asked, and was granted, a modification (I believe it was at 49%). Within a month thereafter, my latest employer increased our contributions, limited work hours, and staggered work weeks. I tried to contact BoA but it was impossible: interminable on-hold times, dropped calls, lost documents, frequent turnover of agents, etc. Once, I sent a partial payment, they accepted it only to return it 6 months later informing me that "(They)don't accept such payments." BoA hadn't considered my attempt to explain how my employment situation changed right after they'd granted a modification. I'd attended the community outreach events by BoA, and by NACA, and I couldn't provide forms fast enough before they'd lose them or say they were incomplete, or missing. Every 2-3 months couriers sent by BoA would drop off notes threatening foreclosure & possible eviction if I didn't call. Then, as soon as I did call the whole circus of dropped communications, frequently changing client representatives assigned to work on my file, misplaced documents, etc., would invariably start again.
What led to this? It's an enigma but for sure this situation was very distressing and exacted a punishing blow to my health. Perhaps it all started because work had become very difficult, dangerous even, the pay was less, there was less staff, each with more responsibility especially on the senior experienced full-time workers of which I was one. I became ill, required surgery, and was disabled thereafter. Suddenly, I had no job, no healthcare, bills to pay, and no income. My 3-month's worth of savings quickly dissipated. That's NO I-N-C-O-M-E! I was left with no way to earn a living, no funds to defend myself or keep the roof over my head, nothing to put food on the table with...4 years Army National Guard, 30 years an Emergency/Critical Care RN and suddenly- I had nothing. The health insurance I'd always kept decided to (initially) deny my claim for a disability hearing despite getting an official "medical/physical" work release (both meniscus were torn, as was my right rotator cuff). Trying to survive bone/joint disease pain while facing homelessness exponentially increased the distress I was feeling as BoA, and NACA, suggested the option of turning over the house. WHERE would I go? Being a praying woman, I had faith in the knowledge that the resolution was to be the result of divine intervention, Karma, and the adherence to The Golden Rule throughout my life.
