Llanerch Country Club Review

We were there for a 50th Wedding Anniversary. It was wonderful!

Pretty standard fare for a run of the mill country club. Not the best, not the worst.

What a great event we had for our beloved boss, Dr. Joe Lamb, at Llanerch Country Club! His retirement party was absolutely beautiful out on their terrace with a lovely view of their golf course. The staff were all so friendly, helpful, and covid-respectful. The hors d'oeuvres were yummy and plated for each person to avoid passing in a crowd, and the crab cakes were DELICIOUS! I'm so glad we chose this venue for our event.

Wonderful atmosphere and food was delicious for bridal shower. Would highly recommend this venue.

Very clean and well kept establishment. Greens are in excellent shape golfing, They have a beautiful pool and tennis courts. The restaurant is excellent as well. I highly encourage you to visit them because you will not be disappointed.

Straight, long, flat holes with no character

Course is maintained exceptionally well (with very limited workers at a very low wage, with a tough detestable boss). Its a long course with fast greens (rolling on 12-13s), beautiful fairways but the layout isn't good. The course has little or NO CHARACTER, besides the awe-inspiring hole #8. Mostly straight, long, flat plain holes.

I attended a lunch event here recently and the new clubhouse is beautiful - everything is new and modern but it still maintains a classic, elegant look. The view from the banquet room is amazing & you can even stand outside on the balcony to enjoy a drink while watching the golfers on the putting green, which we did for a while.

The food was buffet-style and everything I had was delicious - I especially loved their tomato soup and I went back up for a second bowl even I also cleaned my very full plate. A good bloody mary can be hard to find, but mine was excellent.

The staff was friendly & accommodating - they set up a photo slideshow for us and were accommodating to the energetic kids we had in tow, bringing high chairs and even shirley temples.

Llanerch CC provides excellent service with great value when hosting events such as weddings.

In the past few years this is one of the best maintained private golf clubs in the area. The course is amazing. Always plays hard. Greens run true and fast. If you get a chance to play here do it.

I dont appreciate their use of hose water in the tennis water coolers.

Had a cheeseburger from the snack bar at the pool, lovely hunk of plastic from the single packed cheese was in the burger. Oof. People there are great, the place as a whole is amazing. But you need to tell those working the pool area to slow down.

A great location . This could really be developed into great senior living housing and shopping center in the future.

I used to caddy here as a kid, I absolutely hated it. But I do have some fond memories of the pool with my good friend John McBride alias Onion, who worked for years in the golf course. Range boy, caddy. With Bob Phister and Ben Lesniak

The recent renovations to the golf course are terrific and the golf staff is very helpful.

Hats off to the greenskeeper and his staff. By far the nicest course in the area. The staff is tremendous from when you first pull into the parking lot to the dining area.

The environment, atmosphere, ambiance, professionalism, food, cleanliness, etc.everything was perfect and upscale. I also noticed the friendliness of the staff from the moment I entered until I left and I was more than satisfied with everything. It was over the top, very classy and elegant.

The food at an event I went here was AMAZING. The crab cakes were the best I've ever had.

What a place I had the crab it was amazing.. the steak that my table order was cooked to perfection just the right temperature. The chef/ Mallory Adams was extremely nice I was a guest but wish they had a delivery service that would be great. Highly recommended

Great golf, the rough is unbelievable. Club house is really nice. Old world style mixed with a modern touch.

I have designed two beautiful events at Llanerch and the staff has been nothing but helpful and generous with me and my staff. The atmosphere is beautiful and peaceful to host any type of event. Perfect Venue!!!!

Excellent experience! I love the renovations. Most importantly, our food was OUTSTANDING! They happily, and pro-actively, assisted those of us with nutritional restrictions to have an amazing culinary experience! If you are not a member I suggest you join. Or, if that is not for you, then find someone who is a member and asked them to take you to dinner

Hosted a baby shower at Llanerch. Food was outstanding, staff were professional and helpful with great attention to detail, and the view was lovely.. This is a wonderful venue for a celebration.

Golf courses very nice and club house was recently renovated

Went to a luncheon there. Go there every 6 months for luncheon, always good food and a real classy place. Would like to play the golf course sometime, it looks super.

We just got married here last weekend and had a wonderful experience. If you're thinking about having a wedding at a reasonable cost, do yourself a favor and check this place out. The building and overall setting of the club are very nice but not overwhelming. We had our wedding and reception indoors. The staff was very accommodating to our needs. Colleen, the main contact, is kind and patient. We were negotiating with another company before LCC and the experience was night and day. And the crew leader, Cecil, is also fantastic. So with two solid leaders, a reasonable price, and a beautiful venue, you can't really go wrong here. Thank you for making our wedding dreams come true!

My son played a tennis tournament here. This is the most unprofessional place! The "boss" there does not know what is right what is not!

During the game, I saw several times that the opponent called OUT but my son disagreed. Before the tiebreaker, I suggested to get a line judge. After the game the "BOSS" blamed my son should not ask for a line judge. This wasted their "precious" time (watching US Open games). I need to say: we paid for the game, this is the service they need to provide! During the tiebreaker, the line judge were standing there, the opponent still tried to cheat twice, but the line judge corrected it. This was why they needed a line judge! For fairness!

Two other parents told me everything is not right there. They had BAD experience there too. I do NOT recommend this place. It shouldn't be qualified to organize USTA tournaments! We will not go back again!
