There s great practices at Littleton Regional Hospital like the Urgent Care; OBGYN and pediatric care but family Primary care doesn t have enough doctors for the number of patients. Getting a regular prescription refilled is like pulling teeth. A patient should never have to call over 5 times to get a prescription refill. A practice should have time for their patients. I would not recommend primary care services to anyone I know. I know many patients go out of state for healthcare needs due to similar experiences. If you don t need regular office visits and just looking for an Impersonal experience go to primary care.

My father, a man in his 60s, had surgery a week and a half ago and has since developed an infection. After being put on antibiotics he has slowly felt WORSE, not better. He contacted the urologist there both yesterday AND today early in the morning and has YET to hear back from anyone. Let s hope it s not something serious, because he s literally been sitting for days just to talk to someone. No matter how busy, this is negligence, and could seriously be putting his life and health at risk.

I went here to see doctor Hammer and he was fantastic. The whole place was lovely. The parking lot was very clean and they had ample handicap parking. Very helpful staff in the lobby as well. The bathrooms were in excellent condition. The food in the cafeteria was delicious!

I had never been to Littleton regional healthcare, but I was excited that I could get an appointment with an orthopedic surgeon there, Dr. Kaufman, so quickly. As soon as I got there, I realized why And it was not a good thing.

I had the MRI, ordered Binder my neurologist, done on Saturday morning. I asked the technician if he was sure Dr. Kaufman could access it on Tuesday. He assured me that he would have access to it, even if it had not arrived to his hospital by then.

Upon arriving to my appointment, the following Tuesday, Dr. Kaufman immediately informed me that he had no way to access my MRI results. Luckily, I could access the MRI report in my patient portal. He looked at that and immediately dismissed me as a patient. He did not think for himself. He did not listen to me. He was dismissive and arrogant. After over a dozen surgeries, due to connective tissue disorder, he had the nerve to tell me that that diagnosis was incorrect After meeting me for five minutes.

I wasn t so concerned with his bedside manner. But, I at least expected him to make a single phone call to access my MRI films and read them personally, to give me HIS expert opinion Not just regurgitate the technicians report Which I had already read for myself!

THE DEAL: Surgeons are not known for their wonderful bedside manner. But this doctor refused to even make a phone call to access my test results and interpret them himself!

Time and time again I m not impressed with LRH. Emergency room dr lacks knowledge about meds safe for nursing mothers and doesn t care. Don t feed your baby then, I don t know what to tell you, was the response given to me when I went in for severe pain and told him I was a nursing mother. Another pediatric dr used dermabond on my 1 year old daughters nose and proceeded to glue her eye completely shut. This place is terrible! Would not recommend!!

Great place! Fast service very professional and friendly. We had Dr. Klingler and unfortunately forget the nurses name but she was so kind to my 6 yo daughter ... she really helped put her mind at ease! Would recommend this hospital!

My wife and I had to bring our 6 month old daughter to the Littleton Regional Hospital ER. This clearly being a stressful time for our daughter and us as her parents. I m vaccinated and brought my card to show that I received both moderna shots (my second and last shot was received back in January.) We were informed I would not be allowed in the room with my daughter as only one parent is allowed in the room. This being LRH s policy due to COVID.

The purpose of this post isn t to bash LRH but to hopefully get some positive change. I understand safety measures and trying to keep others safe but what s the difference if my wife who I was just with is in the room or if her and I are in there with our daughter?
Sometimes common sense goes a long ways. I believe this is one of those times where it needs to be used.

This proves to me that either the vaccine is a waste of time and government money or the LRH is seriously lacking knowledge in the purpose of the vaccination and needs to be educated and update their policies.

This is not a reflection of the staff as they were all polite and very professional.
